@drlorashahine Is the incidence higher in physicians compared to a control group of other professions in the same age range (e.g. 30-40)? Starting a family later is a common denominator among doctors. In my experience I was the only one with infertility at 35yo in my large group of med friends
@StephStixx it is very hard, I have spent the whole pregnancy feeling guilty for the ones who weren't..I also wanted to modify the London tube 'baby in board' badge with 'IVF baby in board'..
@Lucy57811179 Yes progesterone intramuscular injections ARE a torture..the main problem is that it's a oily composition, hence creates inflammation where injected. I did them for 3 months every bloody day. I feel you. Twice daily Ice packs helped me
@Liv_ingIVF I found Seraphine very comfy, and you would find things for your height. It's more expensive than others, but got only1 new jeans and 1 dress, then found the rest on ebay, or FaraKids charity shops
@StephStixx Ironically, when I was so lucky last ivf worked out, this particular friend also fell pregnant (seamlessly). She complaint all through the pregnancy, and still does now about baby stuff. I instead keep repeating myself every single second, how lucky I was..
@StephStixx they would go silent, and did not know what to do/say. On my side I was listening to complaints of sleepless nights, trying to be the friend. Friendships were becoming a non relationship (especially one), and I decided to open up to them about this
@StephStixx I shared, especially with one of them, my emotions and feeling regarding what was going on in a long letter (might be a bit heavy I know😝).. It helped a little, and I was told they were not sure if asking/how to support
@Unfruitful13 Hope you found people giving you a seat. I have commuted for 9 months on the London underground, it was hell. Once I forgot my badge and I asked for a seat to a guy sat in a priority seat. He looked at me and pointed out that I wasn't wearing a baby on board bagde. I was 8months
@Thequestforaba1 Like others have said, great sleep post the brief anaesthesia, and also great feeling of euphoria given by the drugs 😀 No pain, and I enjoyed the feeling of team work with my husband.. All the best 😘
@Unfruitful13@IVyesandme also my clinic advised me to stop at 10 weeks, I think the reasoning behind it is that, by 10 weeks, you should be producing naturally the hormones you need. Hope this helps 😘
First round of vaccinations today for us. As a mum I understand that it can sound daunting, but this is the best protection you can give to your child in the long run #trustscience#vaccines#iovaccino
