На скриншотах — характерный пример так называемого «спамфлага». Аккаунты публикуют случайный набор слов (word salad), рекламируют недорогие услуги на фриланс-биржах, но при этом одновременно продвигают нужные хештеги.

Практически одновременный вертикальный всплеск активности по одному и тому же набору хештегов, после чего активность резко прекращается.

I am going to lay out as simply as possible why that PPG Ruins tag is stupid.

If "PPG ruins an entire country's gaming perception" (which is what the tag suggests), that is suggesting that company either should no longer exist or should be sanctioned and criticised further. THAT is smearing the IP because it is not addressing the issue. Why on earth would the government turn around and look at the nuances of a game situation and think "wow they are totally ruining our national image, bring the wolf back" NO? PPG went silent for a month because of the last smear campaign, released a statement and have been making moves legally. What they do not need is ANOTHER example of social unrest over their heads because of how the game impacts national image.

PPG also are not going to see players supporting CDG level smear campaign behaviour and think "oh no they are saying we ruin gaming and making it a national smear campaign again, let's give them what they want!" Using the same tactics will not get actual players who love and value the game what they want, it only hinders the efforts of those of us who actually know the game and want to play smarter. Not throw a tantrum and act with visceral emotions.

The hypocrisy and inability to see why that tag is damaging is so so upsetting and infuriating, and what happened with the billboard should only make it clearer WHY. This should be simple, you cannot say you stand for love and passion and artistic integrity by using the weapons that were used against us. I need actual players of LADS to stop giving in to their feelings, save them for private chats and yelling into the ether, but if you are part of a movement it should be about effective and concentrated change. Not a manipulative tantrum harming things on a bigger scale than the actual problem.

Internet water amies have been a notorious problem plaguing China's entertainment industry for years. The organized smear campaign is what is ultimately responsible for Valko's cancellation.

In using those inflammatory tags against PPG, you are pointing the blame at the wrong problem, which is exactly what the real instigators want. They are the problem. They hurt gaming companies. They pushed to get Valko cancelled.

As the post below wonderfully explains, the biggest hurdle to Valko's return right now is bureaucracy and issues related to Chinese litigation. Those things take time. And further dragging PPG into a smear campaign will only make the process longer.
