I was doing a mobile recharge on Paytm app which had an offer for a discount if you used a BOB VISA Debit Card.
After adding all the card details, which were true, I was told the card details were incorrect.

2. If we assume, at first the card details were incorrect, then how after adding the supposedly correct details, you can say that offer applied only once per card if truly the details were incorrect for the first time and no transanction was made.

You do not become a geopolitical power with moral purity. You become a geopolitical power when you pursue brutal self-interests. Moral purity is for internal politics and your own citizenry. The best example of that is the USA. Internally, they hold a very high standard. But when it comes to geopolitics, they sleep with every tinpot dictator that exists on planet earth.
