Happy Ukraine’s Independence Day!
The day of the free, the strong, and the dignified. The day of equals. Ukrainian men and women. In our entire country.
In this fight, everyone counts. Because the fight is for something that is important to everyone.
An independent Ukraine.

Putin has signed a decree allowing deportation of Ukrainians in occupied territories who refuse to take Russian citizenship.
Under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, unlawful deportation of local populations is considered a war crime. https://t.co/W0aylYs0n1
When we do finally get home at nearly 3AM, we’ll have maybe 6 hours sleep before my husband has to be up for work- as a flight attendant! Thankfully Luton is actually better than @HeathrowAirport
Standing at @HeathrowAirport for nearly 2 hours waiting for my husband to get through the queue at customs. There’s well over 100 travellers in the queue waiting and only 2 border officers! Sometimes only 1!
Had he been delayed in that #customsqueue for any longer, we would have been stranded at that hellhole! Because our only way home is the underground, it will take us over 2 hours to get to Luton. Double the time it should have taken!
I simply can not describe the range of emotions I feel right now watching this.. Feels like there are no words that could explain the terror that Ukraine has endured.
I’ve heard many versions of the Ukrainian National Anthem, but on the one year anniversary of the terrorist invasion, this is the best I’ve ever experienced.
Very powerful New Year’s Address by President Zelenskyy. Instead of picking one line, I want to wholeheartedly recommend you to watch the complete speech. I promise, it is worth every minute.
