@thetannieverse Their job is to make music. Managers exist to make sure the music gets out there. That’s the point here, that those ppl are failing to use the tools to get that music out there. And miss me with the they have reached an audience before bs pls. Times change and so should tactics
@thetannieverse You lot really lack the ability to have nuanced arguments. BTS don’t get playlisting= BTS don’t want playlisting. You guys think they’re involved in these decisions and are actively saying no to using the tools available to reach a wider audience?
@reb_12345@JamaisVuheart Yeah if getting a hit was as easy as placing it on a PL, everyone would be doing it. It is def more complicated than that, but it still pisses me off that they don’t put basic efforts for songs that even do take off. Fuckass american girls is higher than Swim on TTH
@reb_12345@JamaisVuheart That may as well be, but the point is making use of the tools which exist in the industry and are used by all big acts. No reason their company shouldn’t be using it. I’m sure they have teams who track metrics/ how to push music to a wider audience
@JamaisVuheart And the comparison is mainly being made because they’re from the same company. Same for NJ. It did help both and there is no shame in accepting that. Arirang is such a banger album and it deserves to find more listeners other than the fd. And there are limited ways of doing that
@JamaisVuheart Tired narrative. BTS was never a PL/ radio dependent act is true but you have to see it in the context of the time they’re putting out music. Today when the usage of YT has gone down and the way people find new music is thru tiktok/ spotify PLs, how can one not see its importance
@JamaisVuheart You can scoff at the “traditional tactics” for katseye nd say it’s not “organic” but it has translated into people finding their new music & showing up to their live performances. When they’re literal babies in the industry. No reason bts shouldn’t get the same exposure

their shocked reactions to an interviewer actually listening to their album hurts my heart also “i had to or else what are we talking about” the james corden shade yum
@vjoonsuga While obviously they’d appreciate the interviewer listening to the album, they were surprised because this was shot before the album release, so ig they were shocked that he was allowed to listen. Hence RM said you’re the first person outside who’s listened to it. Context ppl!
