@haribaldijones Quick question. Haven't been able to watch the URC from Australia, but has the refereeing interpretation dictated this outcome? SRP ruck has been loose, lots of laws being glossed over, all to speed up the game and produce more tries.
@ChristypDoran My problem has been with the refereeing of SRP this year in general. It's too loose. Too much gets missed for the sake of speeding up play. How is this preparing players for test rugby? Actions that are OK today, will be penalised in a test.
@brad_weber9 I actually think it will be a big bonus for Australian rugby. Less spots being available for our top talent, more competitive in SR (if that still exists), and less cohesion early when the AB's come together for the Bled.
@pTah_XV I honestly can't see an upside. The rugby won't be the best quality-players not match fit. SA will win almost all TRC- results more predictable. Managing player loads will be a nightmare. Play a Test in 40+ degree heat wave-dangerous
@ricmrodrigues@robertlufkinmd@Rainmaker1973 A calorie is technically a kilo calorie which is about 4.184 kilojoules, which is a standard measurement unit used in physics to measure energy, among other things.... so pretty relevant really.
@ChristypDoran He's too old, and the run is too late. Won't have the pace late to make the most of space after playing 80, and a 6/2 bench can't carry a non play making centre.
@BMcSport @89combo A series focusing on a breakdown of attacking and defensive structures that different teams use, and the pros and cons, especially with RWC2027. We hear rush defence, umbrella defence etc but many punters don't know the what or why. Get an actual coach to explain it?
@RugbyReg OK, makes sense is stretch. I can sort of understand the thinking. Joe is all about the leadership group anyway, as he has repeatedly stated, so NC/DC gets the big C.
@Ki11ersix I feel like this is a complaint from a very select group of people that have the time to be worried about end-game. The rest of us time-poor plebs are more concerned over QOL issues. I also don't want them to push out TTWL style DLC content. I can wait.
@Rainmaker1973 Eagles are designed to kill with their talons when diving on prey, not with their beaks (evolved for ripping flesh), and certainly not on the ground, where their size and weight is a disadvantage.
@OBBY001 The only way this works is if we scrap Super Rugby and go to a domestic only competition. Rugby will lose all broadcast revenue if we are constantly being done by a cricket score against NZ opposition in SR.
