Посмотрел фильм-расследование @katyaarenina и Проекта.
Тяжело смотреть, но необходимо, чтобы не забывать что все это происходит прямо сейчас. Спасибо журналистам за невероятную смелость и блестящую работу.

@savsays Do you want us to remind you how many aircraft crashed due to male pilots's negligence, stupidity, and ignorance? Why the heck do you try to blame someone's sex? There are plenty of idiots among the men pilots who killed people.
@RychardeM@IAPonomarenko This 'quick, incomplete response' is misinformation from the very first line. If you believe it, you are a moron. If you don’t, then you’re a russian troll paid by the Kremlin. Either way, I pity you.
Okay, for those with a purposefully very short attention span, here's the "deal" that Russia had for Ukraine before the February 24 invasion:
- Ukraine ceases to exist as a sovereign independent nation (because it's "not a real country")
- Ukraine's popularly elected leadership and the national government fucks off to exile in the West
- Russia installs Putin's kin, Viktor Medvedchuk, as a collaborationist dictatorial puppet
- A very large part of the population who was not lucky to flee abroad (patriotic citizens, cultural figures, social activists, potential disloyal elements, and resistance leaders) is subject to "filtration measures" and "re-education" as part of "de-Nazification" (concentration camps, torture chambers, mass graves) because being a Ukrainian in Ukraine and defying foreign occupation is "Nazi".
- Ukraine completely dismantles its national defense forces and accepts Russia's military occupation and
- Russian occupation authorities break Ukraine's ties with the West and make Ukraine part of the Russian-controlled "union state" next to occupied Belarus
- Ukraine largely gives up on its Ukrainian identity, nationhood, language, culture, way of life, and political liberties (because that's "Nazi") and turns into a Russia-style totalitarian ward isolated from the outer world
- Russia gets full control of Ukraine's resources (most importantly, food production and human resources) and Ukraine's strategic geographic position for new rounds of its imperial expansion further into Europe (a.k.a. "the acknowledgment of Russia's vital security interests")
Oh, by the way, for those with very short memory spans, the entire West spent over a year literally begging Putin for a "deal" that could stop him and prevent the war.
The Kremlin was only demonstratively amassing a 180,000-strong invasion force against Ukraine and spitting out purposefully unacceptable ultimatums such as "NATO rolling back to 1997 and giving Russia an exclusive influence zone in Central Europe" from December 2021.
Up until the final days and even hours before the invasion, Western leaders and Zelensky himself begged Putin for a deal, a meeting, a phone conversation, diplomacy, "compromise," etc.
Did all that help with Putin, who wanted war and nothing but war from the very beginning and gave the middle finger and his sadistic grim to all those "dealmakers"?
Even in the early hours of February 24, when Russian bombs were falling and tanks were breaking through the border, Zelensky was calling Macron and Biden, begging them to try and talk to Putin once again and possibly bring him to senses.
Moreover, Zelensky came to power in 2019 with an agenda of "ending the war" and "reaching a compromise with Putin."
And?
So?
Good luck having a "deal" with a maniac whose only acceptable option in the "dealmaking" is having your fucking head cut off with a blunt knife and nothing else - at all, at all, at all.
