@RowleyfileRRR I am trying to be glass half full: current system is a mess and is leading to loads of requests for customer documentation. At face value, the proposed changes seem to offer a smoother process for most. That said, I don’t trust bookmakers or GC!
@RowleyfileRRR Bit of everything. Would have loved to have seen NWA
Blur
Oasis
Paul McCartney
George benson
Madonna
Prince
Prodigy
Beautiful South
Madness
U2
@AKBets Just seen the promo…Aware, Responsible, Accountable. I just want a tenner on the favourite FFS! hopefully for Josh he just asked AI to do something for him and has not spent time/money on this. I can’t believe it’s not an April fool.
@BenoMackenzie@brucemillington Almost with you there, Ben. I would include offsides on the same basis that it’s a clear yes/no decision for which interpretation is (rarely) required. Put all the tech efforts into getting the offside decisions sorted quickly. Leave the rest to the referee during the game
@AKBets Hang in there AK. Technology and international cooperation will make it harder for black market sites to operate within a couple of years. Rough couple of years coming up but it will settle.
My quote of the year was sent in by a listener to @TimesRadio. It’s from C S Lewis and warns of the danger of a government of do-gooders. I’d not heard it before but it’s beautifully phrased, and a bit of a foretelling of modern politics.
@tony_calvin@AKBets Have the podcast team checked out the @racingblogger content from his trip down under? Whatever he is getting paid (and by whom) they should double it. In a world of negativity, his enthusiasm is great fun to watch.
@virginmedia hi, I got an email from
[email protected] which has my account number , area code and name. AI suggests it’s a scam but how would scammers have my account details? Have you been hacked?
@SiClare Lammtarra was special. First time I’d been to Epsom (couldn’t believe the helter skelter course). Sinndar and Sakhee battling it out in 2000 is my favourite though: two top class horses.
@AskPaddyPower I thought you were 4 places in the Stayers’ hurdle (says so on slip and on oddschecker) but Rocky’s Diamond settled as a loser. Is that right?
@LNER hi, I am trying to book a return from Kings X to York in May. Cheapest return leaving before 9am is 100gbp. That’s double what I have paid in previous years. Where have the cheap fares gone? Will cheaper fares be released soon? Cheers
@declanmeagher76 It’s brought back some great ‘team tactic’ memories. Fantastic Light in ICS and Duke of Marmalade in the rearranged Juddemonte two of the best.
@LydiaHislop Signed it. Problem is the system of affordability checks we have now seems even worse than the frictionless checks we are promised, given that bookmakers seem to be using it as an excuse to get rid of winning (or potential winning) punters.
@EdConwaySky you win, Ed. I’ve got the hint and ordered the book!!! To be fair, I always intended to but had not got round to it. Your nudges had the desired result……perhaps that (nudges, incentives etc) could be the theme of your next book?
@TomParkRP@RacingPost Was looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. Great read, well done. Article by James Willoughby was a pleasant surprise, and the racing calendar is a great graphic.
