This is Aziz Mir (Zaildar-e-Rajpora, Bov) who was among the largest landowners in Kashmir! As early as 1939, during Maharaja Hari Singh’s reign he had a private hydropower system, independent water supply and modern amenities—his mansion (built in the 1940s) had around 32 rooms and even featured advanced bath fittings for that time which can compete with any palatal house ever today! He owned multiple properties all across Srinagar and lost thousands of kanals under the Land to the Tiller reforms! Likewise many of Kashmir’s biggest landlords were Muslims—like Sanaullah Shah (Drugmulla) and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mir (Zaildar-e-Salar)—who also suffered heavy losses!
Reducing land ownership to one community and portraying Kashmiri Muslims as uniformly poor is misleading; turning a complex agrarian reform into a communal narrative does disservice to history!
I have ordered a thorough and impartial magisterial inquiry into Arhama, Ganderbal incident. The inquiry will examine all aspects related to the incident and ensure that justice is served.

A strong Western Disturbance is set to impact Jammu and Kashmir over the next 36 hours, bringing widespread moderate to heavy rain showers across the UT.
Windstorm may accompany the system in some areas, along with thundershowers and isolated hailstorm activity. Vulnerable locations could also face a risk of flash floods.
Higher reaches and mountain passes, including Zojila, Sinthan Top, Mughal Road, Sadhna Top, and Razdan Top, are likely to witness fresh snowfall.
Though less likely, light snowfall over middle elevations (2100–2400 meters) cannot be completely ruled out.
Weather conditions are expected to gradually improve by Sunday, although a few places may still receive brief showers on that day.

American and Israeli forces attacked Iranian civilians gathered to support their country during live coverage. The Iranians, however, did not flee; they waved Iranian flags and shouted "Allahu Akbar" and "We will fight, we will die but we will not surrender".
