🔻على مدار الحرب، كان الحداد ضالعًا في احتجاز عدد كبير من المخت��فين الإسرائيليين لدى حماس. كما أدار منظومة احتجاز المختطفين في قبضة حماس الإرهابية وأحاط نفسه بمختطفين إسرائيليين بهدف منع تصفيته.

🔻يُعد الحداد من أقدم قادة حماس، إذ انضم إلى صفوفها في فترة تأسيسها وخلال سنوات نشاطه في المنظمة، لعب دورًا مركزيًا في حكم الإرهاب وتولى سلسلة من المناصب البارزة، من بينها قائد لواء مدينة غزة وقائد وحدات إضافية.

🔻ويُعتبر الحداد من آخر كبار قادة الذراع العسكري لحماس الذين أشرفوا على التخطيط والتنفيذ لمجزرة السابع من أكتوبر، وعلى إدارة القتال ضد قوات جيش الدفاع
