The authority has just signed an MOU with Zionists which effectively legitimizes the occupation of southern Lebanon.

مذكرةُ التفاهمِ الإيرانية-الأمريكية تُلزِمُ إسرائيلَ بالانسحابِ الكاملِ من جنوبِ لبنان، وإلَّا فلن يكونَ لها طريقٌ نحوَ أيِّ اتفاقٍ شامل.

واليومَ، يُحاوَلُ "تَشرِيعُ" الوجودِ الإسرائيليِّ في لبنان، طالما أنَّ ثمَّةَ مقاومةً. هذا بينما ما تقدِّمُه المذكرةُ اكبر بكثير ودونَ أيِّ مقابلٍ لبنانيّ. فلماذا ذهبت السلطة اللبنانية نحو هكذا اتفاق ولم تتشبّث بمخرجات المذكرة المجانية؟ وقد قال رئيسُ وزراءِ إسرائيل: "الاتفاقُ الذي أُبرِمَ مع لبنان اليومَ إنجازٌ كبيرٌ لإسرائيل، وضربةٌ لإيران التي تحاولُ فرضَ انسحابِنا بالقوَّةِ من جنوبِ لبنان."

إلا أنّ إيران والمقاومة ستُجبرانِ إسرائيلَ على الانسحابِ الكامل، وفرحةُ نتنياهو لنْ تطولَ. وأمَّا "تَشرِيعُ" قتلِ اللبنانيِّين واستمرارُ الاحتلالِ في الجنوب، فتاريخيًّا يَنعَكِسُ على من يَرتَكِبُه—وليس في لبنانَ فقط. فالتاريخُ لا يَرحَمُ من يصطفُّ مع عدوِّه ضدَّ شعبِه ومقاومتِه، وفي حكومةِ فيشي وحكومةِ سايغونَ عِبَرٌ وعظاتٌ.

A reminder that in 1983, after the Israeli invasion of Lebanon and the siege of Beirut, the Lebanese authority signed a “peace deal” with Israel under US pressure, recognizing Israel and delegitimizing resistance against it. A popular uprising shattered that deal months later. Back then, Hezbollah wasn’t even leading that uprising. This is a red line not to be crossed. There will never be a deal with Israel under their bombs and with their tanks burning our land. Learn from history

I was just informed that one of the families massacred in our village, Arab Salim, were killed as they were attempting to leave. As they were forced to flee, an Israeli airstrike targeted a building near their vehicle as they drove by, setting their car on fire, killing them.
