Desert Rock is Saudi Arabia’s first hotel to earn Three MICHELIN Keys and has won the 2026 MICHELIN Architecture & Design Award.
With six resorts across @VisitRedSea recognized with one or two Keys each, I’m incredibly proud of our teams and partners. Congratulations to all!
@MargoMartin47@POTUS This isn’t the GCC. This is literally a bunch of the Arab League.
Also why is his royal highness Prince Faisal seated the furthest? Saudi Arabia is essentially the head of the GCC, and Jordan isn’t even part of the GCC.
Per usual terrible diplomatic protocols from the U.S. 🚮
I’m sure, Larry loomer’s low iq bigotry is why she’s unfamiliar with conducting herself in diplomacy, let alone knows what a diplomatic passport.
Such horrid, unsolicited advice, on matters such as foreign affairs, geopolitics, or theology.
Thankfully, you are no intellectual scholar. @LauraLoomer
Glad to see a familiar face! Welcome back @WesleyHuntTX is more apt.
Ambassador Wesley even has a better ring to it rather than Representative or Senator Wesley.
Many thanks to his predecessor for his wisdom and brilliance throughout his tenure, H.E. Michael Ratney, the former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
It is the honor of a lifetime to accept President Trump’s nomination to serve as the next United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Having served in the region both in combat as an Army officer and for two years as a diplomatic liaison in the Kingdom, I understand the strategic importance of the partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia and the profound responsibility of this position.
Service has always defined my life.
My immediate family has given more than sixty years to our military.
My brother, sister, and I graduated from West Point, served in combat, and, at one point, were all deployed to Iraq simultaneously.
I am deeply grateful to President Trump for his confidence in me. When confirmed, I will serve with humility and honor, advance his vision of peace through strength and deepen this vital partnership.
Wesley Hunt @WesleyHuntTX has been tapped by @POTUS to be US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
I hope he knows how much Arabs hate black people.
Arabs invented the slave trade and Islamic culture is very racist toward black people.
This should be interesting to watch unfold.
It's fascinating watching people claim to speak for Yemeni civilians while staying conspicuously silent when those same civilians are killed, bombed, starved, imprisoned, or terrorized by Iran & the Houthis. Apparently, some Yemeni lives generate outrage & others don't. This isn't solidarity with #Yemen. It's selective morality.
I look at it this way. The centre of gravity in the Middle East is not Jerusalem and it is not Tehran. It is Riyadh!
Thank God for that. Saudi Arabia has become a state that works for peace and stability, and the reason is Vision 2030.
April 2016 changed everything. Riyadh committed to moving its economy off oil, and that meant foreign capital, tourism, megaprojects, and a country investors would actually enter. None of it survives a permanent war. Stability stopped being a diplomatic preference and became a Saudi national interest. Every major move since follows from that logic. Restoring relations with Tehran in Beijing instead of escalating. Holding the Yemen truce. Refusing normalisation with Israel without a Palestinian state, under Biden and under Trump alike.
And on Yemen, let us be honest about what happened in 2015.
Saudi Arabia went in to stop an Iranian proxy from swallowing the Arabian Peninsula's southern flank. It was not allowed to finish. Washington restricted the arms and the support. In February 2021 the Biden administration ended American backing for offensive operations, and days later revoked the Houthis' terrorist designations altogether. It took until January 2024 to list them again as an SDGT and until March 2025 to restore the FTO designation.
Four years in which Iran's most capable proxy sat unlisted, rearming, with no pressure on its finances!
Iran won the narrative war and Saudi Arabia was pushed back. We are sitting in the consequences of that today, watching the Houthis stand on Bab al-Mandeb.
Washington has tried more than once to build policy around Riyadh instead of around it. And more than once it has slid back into the Netanyahu orbit. The pull of the Israeli lobby is the most obvious explanation, and nobody serious in Washington pretends otherwise.
Now here is what almost nobody in the West has noticed.
Saudi Arabia and European states have been working together closely, and not quietly. The UN conference on the two-state solution was co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France. The New York Declaration that came out of it lists Norway and the United Kingdom among the working group co-chairs. When the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, a Saudi initiative, met at the General Assembly, it was co-hosted by Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the EU's Kaja Kallas and Norway's Espen Barth Eide, with nearly a hundred countries in the room.
That is not a photo opportunity. That is Riyadh, Paris, London and Oslo running the same file together for over a year.
So my question is simple. Why does that cooperation stop at politics?
The Houthis are an Iran-backed armed movement sitting on Bab al-Mandeb, a strait carrying European trade and, since Hormuz closed up, much of the oil Europe now depends on. Europe has interests in that water and warships in it. Saudi Arabia has the fight and the airbases. The diplomatic partnership already exists. The military one does not.
As a Dutch-Norwegian, I would like to see that change. Not European boots in Yemen, nobody is asking for that. Intelligence, maritime interdiction, targeting support, and cutting the supply lines that keep the Houthis armed.
Europe and the Arab world already agree on how this region should end up. It is time they cooperated on the thing standing in the way.
Lol this isn’t the United States and their constitution doesnt apply for the entire world
It’s funny the audacity to call Saudi racist and then call Saudi Arabia the shit country, why would a Somali want to be part of a racist shit country?😂😂😂
There’s no 14th amendment in Saudi just bc you’re born in Saudi (which is funny you failed to mention paid for birth and probably provided you the free housing, education etc otherwise you wouldn’t be tagging the ministry of health or even able to be in London)
This has to be fake or a bit ain’t no way, someone this ignorant, admitted has no Saudi bloodline whatsoever, is crying racism and wants to be part of of these racist saudis😂 my own cousins who are born in Saudi to a Saudi and raised in Saudi and are pale white, they still don’t have a Saudi nationality, I guess we’re color blind racists.
Unless you have minimum of AT LEAST 5 great grandfathers, doesn’t me you’re expect just bc you’re a Saudi, born to Saudi parent and another parent from qatar, Kuwait, or Bahrain with Saudi linage who might have Saudi linage, have to go ask permission from the tribe’s sheikh😂 who can just say no bc of vibes😂
My mom was in her teens when Saudi abolished slavery in the 70’s, which is why it’s so disingenuous to cry racism when someone was alive when we criminalized the slave, which isn’t hard to believe
@Kryptotajeer You’re in Makkah. Islam isn’t a location or ethnostate. You’re greeting Muslims. Just to be factually honest and fair to uniformed viewers.
@HALALK0 Yeah it’s bc of your Wikipedia. That’s exactly why no man is going to give his daughter’s hand in marriage, whose idea was to watch his girlfriend get banged and then cry how over being a cuck…. I’m sure it’s the Wikipedia and zero privacy.
Bro Americans need to fucking stop with calling every fucking thing a dictatorship, nazis, and fascism. It’s actually becoming so fucking insufferable how much retarded people are walking around this uninformed and allowed to vote. I’m not even German but enough of low iq whining
I’m so confused where’s the luxury? This literally looked my London apartment in uni in 2019. Also, why do you want her in a “standard dorm” and secret service cocking blocking college kids experience like smoking weed or something bc a federal agent is literally right there?
Now yall want DHS in dorm housing in Miami, Florida a red state….but no DHS anywhere near voting polls, schools, and churches in sancturay cities that literally blue states run by democrats…. Make it make sense….
Surely an Asian student deserves the American college experience and this basic apartment, but not an American nope bc orange man bad, Got it.
It’s incredible how the video had no mention of Trump but your hatred and ideological capture, orange man bad is all you hear and see lmao. It’s only in America that find words like nationalism and patriotism as scary. Every nation, that are national citizens, and a patriotic national anthem in the native language.
Not “black” national anthems for literally on 13% of the population.
