One more goodie for the #MTGPauper players out there: a keyword to filter for cards added to the format with yesterday's announcements:

Importantly, now you can find all the new cards available to find with Mystical Teachings:

Pauper now has a unified card pool, where anything common online or in paper is legal! (Minus bans.) It's also in WER and Gatherer. Thank you SO MUCH to all the Community members who sent feedback on Pauper to get us to this point, like @TolarianCollege. Exciting! :D

WAR twitter stories pt.1
Do not adjust your tv screens. Ob Nixilis’s Cruelty is a common. Starting with War of the Spark we are making an effort to have more exciting cards at common. #WOTCstaff
@trulyaliem There are 5 BBD downshifts to common (ref: https://t.co/WgrFYGQyc1) that have not been released in Chests, but are considered Pauper legal by MTGO. Was this intentional?
This is easily the best pauper discussion I've had since I entered the format. Make sure you check all of the other @ColorCommontary content, these guys are super insightful and genuine. They're also a huge boon to the format. Thanks again guys <3!
How To Monetize Pauper: You reprint the common cards that people are playing with in the products that you want to sell to people. It will make the products sell better than when you reprint cards people are not playing with. This can be applied to other formats as well. #mtg
@ProggyBoog @ColorCommontary@CKPodcastMTG@wizards_magic I agree that WOTC has no incentive to implement the missing cards for MTGO, but I don't think that's required, or even a barrier to sanctioning the format. Vintage and Legacy have divergent paper/MTGO card pools too.
Oh man! Tonight's recording was a blast, and the guys from @CKPodcastMTG are just simply a delight! Can't wait to edit this down and get it up this weekend! -M
Mark Rosewater just asked me, "So what does Pauper need?"
I told him, "Paper Pauper Legality, Pauper on Gatherer, and reprint Oubliette."
"I mean from ME." he replied. "What kinds of cards do you wish we'd DESIGN for Pauper?"
I spent 10 more minutes urging the Oubliette reprint.
@GavinVerhey In a WotC article you authored earlier this May, you requested feedback. I'd like to see official support and sanctioning of the Pauper format in paper. Implicit in that would be addressing the dependencies between paper and MTGO card pools. Thanks!
