Did you even look closely at the costumes they’re wearing in their movie? If you haven't yet, you should go recheck and watch carefully before posting it on your timeline.
They even used the 'Byala' symbol, which represents the Rakhine people, one of Myanmar's indigenous ethnic groups.
Since they used something to that extent without giving credit, that is why we are calling them out spreading awareness about this.

You can see for yourself that the statement released by the company you’re defending isn’t all that serious or meaningful. If you Thai people ever find yourselves in a situation where your own culture is being used without proper and meaningful credit, I pray that you’ll be just as understanding as you are now.😊

And , the Lanna costume they used doesn't even look like the Thai Lanna style, right? It is very obvious that they took a lot of it from the Myanmar side's style.
All we want is just a credit. Yet, your people find it so difficult to give a simple credit and show a little respect.
Don't come at us saying things like 'Myanmar people think they own everything.' We aren't wasting time creating drama over something if our cultural heritage wasn't actually taken. When something of ours is used and we point it out, it suddenly gets turned around as if we want to claim ownership of everything. If you use something, giving respectful credit is just the natural thing to do

What they said was just casually mentioned on a casual live stream; what we want is proper acknowledgment with written credit. When cultures are mixed together, we cannot ignore the origins of distinct symbols and traditions.
If you are asking to respect Lanna and other cultures, you should also respect the cultural heritage of Myanmar's ethnic groups, including the Rakhine people. Respecting one culture should not mean disrespecting another.

Oh really? Then what do you have to say about taking and using the symbols of our Burmese Rakhine ethnic people? Are you going to keep denying it by claiming they belong to their northern ethnic group?
The ones who lack respect are your people, not us.
