i've come to the firm conclusion: the use of proverbs MAY be aesthetically beautiful but it's the language of the lazy which mostly clouds or distorts subjects.
The presence of Baobab trees has long marked ancient Ga‑Dangme settlements, living witnesses to our origins. Today, rapid urbanization is wiping them out across our communities, erasing heritage in the name of development.
@nyavorx Hahahahaha Imagine Mahama. Rather why I argue that our constitution is great and that we don't need some of the bogus things like Special Prosecutor, or those fantasies like RTI law or the so-called championed Independent what what what. Like we don't see the good thing we have.
It is now an offence to photocopy or visually inspect a Ghana Card for the purpose of transaction. Biometric verification is now MANDATORY.
An organization that contravenes this order commits an offence and faces a fine of at least 500 penalty units and up to 2,000 units on summary conviction.
Individual penalty units range from 50 to 500.
This follows the maturity of the LI 2111 amendment, which was introduced in parliament three months ago and gazetted today.
The Honorable Minister in charge of the National Identification Authority will address the public in the coming days about the steps being taken to enforce this amendment.
In the meantime, you can apply to be onboarded onto the NIA identity Verification Platform by sending an email to [email protected]
Expected on that paper:
The constitution, 1992, is great.
The constitution doesn't say anyone should take any particular amount of money as ex-gratia or whatever.
It doesn't say govt should starve DCEs of dev funds and turn around to say they must be elected.
Long live 1992!!!
Absurdity!!!
The constitution says sovereignty resides in the people.
So if the people want Mahama to go for a third them then the people have to decide that by their own clear choosing. Not such contrived absurdity.
Private legal practitioner Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie files a suit at Supreme Court for a Mahama 3rd term
The suit is seeking an interpretation of Article 66(2) of the Constitution, arguing that the two-term presidential limit applies only after two consecutive elected four-year terms and that a break resets the eligibility count.
If upheld, the interpretation could have implications for President Mahama’s eligibility to seek a third term .
look at the comments.
Ghana-ians are a funny.
This is a very (underlined) popular opinion in Ghana. Albeit a bogus one I challenge every day.
But somehow it is being rejected here merely because it is being shared by an 'outsider'.
by the way, free Abronoma now!!!
long live 1992.
This your story does not check out.
Your friend?
And you forgot about her for a year. Something that you asked for unsolicited?
Ghana has problems but hardly will anyone with such good grades stay home 2yrs/3yrs (just last year and she stayed home for 2/3yrs (follow-up comments)?
I have been sad about how Ghana treats citizens and the opportunities many miss
Last year, I asked a friend to inform me when her results are in and I didn’t hear from her
I asked her today and she didn’t buy the forms so I thought she didn’t pass
Forms are less than 500 GHS 💔
If you believe prez Mahama has been terrible as prez, the law provides for his removal.
So you may stop the fake news that calling for his removal is encouraging lawlessness.
Abronoma is arrested for fake news/misinformation.
It is sad.
Free Abronoma now!!!
Long live fake news!!!
@AmofahKwaku Why? I believe President Mahama has been terrible as President so should he also be taken off as head?
Why are you people encouraging lawlessness because you are angry? That is dangerous for our democracy
Then how come galamsey has not stopped after they have been used for that too?
Ghana remains being led by a civilian prez.
He and his appointees are the ones who will be held responsible.
People will not say the military was used here so that absolves politicians from anything.
Problem is clear! With politicians in the helm of affairs, nepotism, favouritism and corruption will always be the problem! I have faith in the military to tackle this problem head on..
Of all the public agencies in Ghana; I believe that the professionalism of the Ghana Immigration service is second to none.
They are always completely friendly, respectful and jovial whenever I am at the airport. Not once has anyone asked me for money before or being even slightly rude.
It’s always the best part of my travel experience.
Keep it up! And just to be clear; this did not start under this Government. Even when the former Gvt could not tolerate me; people in immigration were always very professional.
Now, if you travel to Nigeria just once, you will come back to Ghana and write a cheque for every immigration officer. Kae. Nigeria traumatises me.
Tell me about your own positive experiences
Shalom
Anytime I see a video from the recent floods in Accra and how lives have been lost and properties destroyed, I feel a big pain in heart 💔
Ghanaian leaders have failed the cituzens herh 😢
To have the courage to quote this waste for recycling ...
Attitude indeed.
What is the attitude of govt?
Where are the waste bins?
Where are the collectors?
Where are the dump sites?
What is the cost for dumping waste?

They say those saying we should have listened to Noah are being insensitive. Those who want to answer this question are free to do so. Everyone should be free to determine for themselves what is insensitive to them.
