BREAKING: The Urban Redevelopment Authority (@urapgh) just motioned unanimously to authorize the development of a 34-unit affordable housing project in Pittsburgh's Uptown neighborhood directly next to Bethlehem Haven Women's Shelter.

The estimated total cost for this affordable housing development is $450,000 per unit.

Key Points:

• The development, named ‘Uptown Flats’ is a partnership between @Bethlehem_Haven and Action Housing Inc
• 11 single resident occupancy units, 16 one-bedroom units, 7 two-bedroom units
• Total development cost of $19,476,875 with 6 different funding sources including a $13,244,890 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and a $1,250,000 Rental Gap Program (RGP) loan through @urapgh
• The Rental Gap Program (RGP) funding will be in the form of a 40-year 0% interest cash flow loan
