The ending makes a lot more sense after finding out the duffers started filming episode 8 without a finished script, made production work around their verbal ideas because they didn’t have time to wait for finalised designs, and had their own actors making them aware of plotholes

Finale so bad the fans theorised a secret final episode because it made more sense than the slop the duffers came up with

The “Conformity Gate” theory claims the Duffers have a secret episode that would undo parts of the finale, revealing Vecna/Henry didn’t die and manipulated the ending.

Netflix and the Duffers haven’t commented, though the show’s social bios now state: “ALL EPISODES OF STRANGER THINGS ARE NOW PLAYING.”
