Think twice before you flush! Wipes might go down, but they don't break down. Protect our plumbing and the environment by putting wipes in the trash, not the toilet. 🌊♻️ Let's keep our water systems flowing smoothly.

Remember to only flush the 3 P's! - PEE, POO, and PAPER... Toilet paper that is! Check out my do no flush list below. Can you think of anything else I should add to my list? #NoWipes#NoWipesInThePipes#pattypotty#plumbing#wastemanagement https://t.co/S2LDirHowf
We have been working like crazy to get the word out about making sure there are #NoWipes in the Pipes. But we cant do it by ourselves...we need each & everyone of you to join in. Visit our @SaveWaterTX's memberships page for how darn easy it is to join!!

Toilet paper breaks down, quick & easy. Wipes don’t! Even the ones that say they’re flushable. Flush only the 3 Ps! Pee, poo & toilet paper. Anything else can clog pipes and cause damage to municipal infrastructure. #idontflush#wastewater

Never never never put these items in your pipes:
❌Fats, Oils, and Grease
❌Coffee Grounds
❌Medication
❌Wipes
❌Hair
❌Paint

Are you washing Fats, Oils & Grease down the drain? Stop! They can build up in pipes and combine with unflushables like wipes - leading to blockages and toxic overflows in homes and neighbourhoods. Put ‘FOG’ in the green bin/trash! #idontflush#environment

Q: What can I flush?
A: Pee, poo & toilet paper. No exceptions. Not even so-called “flushable” wipes.
Bad flushing habits can lead to big trouble. Like clogged pipes, toxic overflows and $$$ damage to municipal infrastructure. #idontflush#environment

😲😲People are flushing all kinds of things down the toilet!😲😲
It’s not a trash can, you know! Some paper products and wipes are advertised as ‘flushable’ but they aren’t. 👎❌👎

You can’t always hear a leaky toilet. Use leak detection tablets/food coloring to check for leaks as follows:
1. Remove cover of toilet tank
2. Drop leak detection tablets in tank
3. Wait 5 minutes
4. If color appears in the toilet bowl, you have a leak
