Building Nox for Hyperliquid traders who are tired of guessing.
→ Statistically proven insights from your actual trades
→ AI coach: pre-trade, post-trade, daily advice, weekly reviews
→ Automatic position sizing
→ Risk guardrails that enforce discipline for you
🧵 What we're building and why:
@art_xbt That's exactly the kind of insight we calculate at Nox, and we pair them with actionables and guardrails to help the trader enforce discipline
@mk4_lul That's exactly what we are trying to do with Nox. We are working on a coaching layer on top of Hyperliquid. Statistical insights from your own trading data, automatic position sizing, and guardrails that intervene before the user fucks up
@_not_a_fish Sometimes there is something to do.
We developed an insight that shows traders the chances of hitting SL based on the time in drawdown the trade has spent.
Fortunately, by setting alerts, you can still close the chart.
- Set alerts on important prices/metrics
- Close the chart
For example, one of our insights shows that if a trade is still underwater after 15 minutes, there's a 75% chance (based on the trader's own history) it hits the SL. So instead of watching and hoping, you get an alert or an auto-close. Data makes "close the chart" actually possible.
Your low-target trades capture 72% of the move. Your high-target ones? 38%. Aiming for home-runs will make you less profitable.
We built an insight that measures this and suggests partial TPs based on your own data.
@follis_ Being in a trade on every move is more about guessing than following strategies.
To prevent that, we always ask users to associate a strategy with every trade, and have several insights in place about overtrading (together with guardrails, for when discipline is weak)
Roundtripping consistently isn't bad luck. It's a pattern.
Nox measures how much profit you give back after peak. The fix isn't mental toughness. It's a target and execution based on your actual data.
@j_intradaytrade This is it. Discipline is a symptom, not the root cause. If you don't trust your edge, no amount of willpower fixes that. Data does.
That's exactly why we built Nox: 42 statistical insights from your own trades so you actually know what works and what doesn't.
@t0mbfx Until your strategy and execution are consistent, lazy might not be ideal. Backtest, research, etc.
But when it comes to execution, yes, often less is more. We built an insight to track this and tell the trader when enough is enough
@TradingComposur This is why tracking your actual stats matters. Not only in general, but also per strategy.
We built an insight for this, and also highlight what the expected outcome was.
@SJosephBurns This is exactly why small losses should stay small. The problem is most traders understand this math but still let a 3% day turn into a 15% day because they're chasing the breakeven.
We built automatic daily drawdown limits in Nox: hit your max, trading pauses.
@KoroushAK Exactly. Leverage is just a tool. Position sizing and risk % over equity is what matters.
That's why we abstracted leverage and position sizing in Nox. You define the strategy and its invalidation, and the system handles the rest.
@greenytrades Risk management before anything else. Most people do it backwards, they chase setups first and learn risk after blowing up. Start with position sizing, daily limits, and track every trade from day one. Learn from your data. The data will tell you what to trade.
@iamdisplacement You're not lying. And the worst part is most overtrades don't feel like it in the moment. The data shows it after... your win rate vs trade count usually has a clear cliff
We built an overtrading detection insight to help traders with this issue
