@ask_aubry I really feel for her and the child. Not everyone is the same, but Iโm raising a child who is biologically not mine and it is HARD. That ungrateful pig man is unbelievably blessed but too stupid to see it. Iโd suggest she leave, but what about the child? How awful for them both.
@joegarra61 @mariamtokhi @drvyom I dressed my daughter in pink, plaited some wool for a tail that we stuck on her pants with a safety pin and bought (yes paid for this bit) a unicorn headband and she went as Thelma the Unicorn. I know not everyone has this stuff, but $60 is outrageous!
@FitzySA Thatโs just awful. There are many fabulous HCW but there are also many who were either never really meant for it, or who have done it for far too long. Theyโve forgotten that even though they deal with this stuff everyday, the people in need of help do not.
@abcnews This sounds like a pretty arbitrary โruleโ that this particular schoool has decided to enforce for no apparent reason. My kids go to a private religious school. There are girls with loose braids, boys with turbans and girls wearing hijabs. Itโs actually a really lovely place.
@troycassardaley I lost my mother last year. It is one of the hardest experiences Iโve ever been through, so my heart goes out to you at this terrible time. Be well โค๏ธ
@Asher_Wolf This is so concerning. I had covid and was lucky to not be too sick, but I have definitely had a mild kind of brain fog ever since. I have trouble remembering the word I want in a sentence sometimes and get others mixed up e.g I once called a pigeon a penguin and an egg a frog ๐ตโ๐ซ
@femmocollective If you have Disney thereโs a brainless but sweet sitcom called Jessie about a Nanny who looks after four adopted racially diverse kids. My children have seen every episode 3 times ๐คฆ๐ป
@AshDahlstrom Iโm so old that Internet dating in my day involved having to pay for profiles and to contact people, which instantly cut out the time-wasters. I mean, the racists are eternal, but you could usually weed them out back then โฆ
