Muslims really want Christians to quietly watch as they take over the world and subject everyone to Sharia law.

I will be killed for being openly opposed to Islam. Any Muslim who converts to Christianity will be killed. 9 year old girls will be married off to old men who will violate them. And, as I have recently learned, the IQ of the nation will drop continually due to cousin marriage.

And worst of all countless people will be condemned to spiritual darkness because Islam is false, Mohammed was not a prophet but a sex fiend and child rapist.

Yes, the transition to this state will involve peaceful Muslims stepping in and paving the way for the violent ones. But even those peaceful ones will eventually tremble in fear when the true Mohammed followers walk down that pavement into places of power where Islam can show what it really is.

The Church is not Israel.

Throughout the New Testament, “Israel” always means Israel: the corporate ethno-covenantal people known as Israel. The term is never spiritualized into “the Church." Every single NT use of Israel (over 70 occurrences) refers to the Jewish people or the nation descended from Jacob. Even in the most debated texts (Romans 9:6, Romans 11:26, or Galatians 6:16) all still speak of Israel as a definable, ethno-covenantal entity. The NT writers simply never redefine the word. If God had intended to strip Israel of its plain meaning, the NT would show this clearly. Instead, it doubles down on the promises, the identity, and the future of the people called Israel.

Zechariah foretold a day when Jerusalem would become “a cup of staggering” and “a heavy stone for all peoples”(Zechariah 12:2–3). We are watching as multitudes are drunk with delusion; the “controversy of Zion” is here. Make no mistake: God Himself is drawing them into judgment. In the aftermath of a Mamdami win, as most are trying to assign blame, to make 'gotcha' comments, I'd like to offer a few very important observations. If you are a pastor or thought leader, please pause your scrolling to consider this moment in American hiostory with me.

Whether you realized it or not, the perfect storm is here. I know Ecclesiastes says that "nothing is new under the sun," but this really is something new.

The old status quo, the liberal myth of endless compromise that most of us have always lived under, is over. The age of revolution is here.

Younger folks in particular across the spectrum feel economically cornered, underemployed, in debt, and shut out of a bright, stable future. The hopelessness and deep desperation they feel is naturally leading them to embrace reactionary and radical solutions. When any civilization stops offering purpose, its children will desperately seek it elsewhere, anywhere. The spiritual and economic vacuum right now is incredibly similar to pre-World War II conditions.

Right-wing reactionaries (The Groypers) and the left-wing reactionaries (The Marxists) are both symptoms of the same spiritual and economic collapse. Both are children of the same storm, sons and daughters of what feels like a dying empire, a dying world.

Both are turning to revolution. Both see each other as the enemy. War is inevitable.

Sounds scary? This is just the start. Into this perfect storm, something very new has emerged: Artificial Intelligence. Within a decade, the world will be unrecognizable. Overnight, AI is going to radically alter the landscape of employment. It will outright challenge what it means to be human. Even the world's most brilliant futurists have no idea what the future will look like.

Okay, ready for this?

AI is not so much going to determine our future, as it will reveal our hearts. I have so much more to say, but for now, I have to drive my kids to school.

Biblical Eschatology 101:

The Church today is pretty much divided between those who preach three very distinct messages about the Kingdom of God:

Amillennialism preaches that this is the kingdom now (spiritually speaking). We must learn to enjoy it now, while also basically looking forward to death, (at which time, things get much better.) Someday Jesus will return and renew all things. This is certainly hopeful, but also rather vague.

Postmillennialism preaches that the kingdom is emerging, but we must fight to make it a reality. Yes, we must actively steward this world and refuse to lay down, but honestly, I'm more exhausted every day. Looking at the world right now, I don't know, man. This hamster wheel is seriously wearing me out.

Premillennialism preaches that Jesus will return (probably quite soon) to restore all things. Absolute cosmic redemption. That is a message of such hope for the hopeless, for the poor, persecuted, and the exhausted. Of course, it's what the Bible actually teaches, so there is that. But it is also the only message that truly gives me, a weak struggler, any real hope.
