@TimGarrisonMN A couple issues I see. 1. There’s no way Giannis and Myles will be traded together this summer after Myles outed Giannis for arriving to travel days late. 2. If I’m the Bucks I look at this and I’d say I don’t want Julius over Myles, so they’d have to rework that piece.
@itsjwills If you already have a superstar on your roster to build around, it’s a different story. Grab as many 1st rounders as you can. But this wouldn’t be the bucks situation.
@itsjwills It turns rebuilding through the draft into a bigger gamble. I predict teams will start prioritizing young, high upside nba talent over a haul of picks that may or may not convey in an advantageous spot.
@SoccerInsider Question. It says here James will make $684k in total annualized compensation. Does that mean he’s making that total for the first portion of the season? Or can we assume he’s only making half that because the option on the second half of the year is likely to not be picked up?
I can’t believe it took us this long to get to the lineup/bench rotation we’ve been calling for since the summer. It’s still going to lose a bunch of games, but at least KPJ and Ryan Rollins will finally get used correctly!
If you’re curious what life has been like in the Twin Cities the last couple weeks, this blog really captures all the emotions I’ve been feeling: fearful, frustrated, angry, sad.
“This isn’t an ‘immigration crackdown’. It’s chaos.”
@nathanmarzion@TickPick It’s pretty crazy across the league. I live in Minneapolis now and have Wolves tickets and we’re seeing the same dip in resale prices. It feels super driven by all the stars missing this year. I’ve missed Ant (2x), wemby, castle, AD, kyrie in just four games I’ve attended so far.
I don’t get what people don’t understand. The Bucks aren’t trading a sure thing for a bunch of eh players and pick swaps that will largely convey out of the lottery… if this is what these teams are willing to part with then a deal won’t get done.
@nathanmarzion Totally fair. At the same time, while he may be less of a fit from a pace perspective, he’s also one of about three guys on the team who can reliably find his shot in isolation. If we have to go through stretches with an injured KPJ or Giannis, that’s not a bad thing to have.
