@charliegreenman @ally_sheehan This is exactly it. The people don’t directly vote for the president the states do. When you go to the polls and vote for president you are voting for who you want your state to vote for.

@andyroddick Presidents don’t currently have immunity so it is a moot point. They have immunity for actions taken within the scope of the constitution while in office but if they venture outside of those guardrails then it becomes a matter for either impeachment or the courts.
