#NidoHist#AProblemFromHell This article reminded me of the beginning of the book when the US wouldn't ratify the treatment out of fear of being accused of their own "genocides". Should we be more skeptical of the US' past and the possibility of genocide?

#AProblemfromhell#nidohist Today, take a moment to to reflect even more than what’s required for the grade. Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day and our newly gained knowledge gives us a deeper understanding of the significance, helping us prevent another genocide in the future.
#aproblemfromhell#nidohist Only the first few chapters and we already learn about human nature. The US stayed out of Turkey to protect themselves physically and emotionally. Same reason Trump says the “Chinese virus”: he is selfishly protecting his own emotions. Blame is easy.
@cornell_ian#NidoEcon#NidoHist Definitely has an effect on legitimacy. Reactive and not proactive policies are only growing the #renunciapiñeira sentiments. I saw a video where he mentioned the same social policies in 2011, 2017 and 2019. Like Peron, you only get one chance to be populist.
#NidoEcon#NuevaAgendaSocial The proposal is mainly fiscal policy. Government spending on pensions will push AD out. Supply-side policies such as those on health care should help increase LRAS, limiting the inflationary pressure in the long term but not the short term.
#nidohist Seems fitting to be working on or women in history projects on #WomensEqualityDay For the US group: 99 years ago today women in the US got the right to vote. Next year, on the 100 anniversary, let’s use our votes to elect the first lady President!
Whenever I meet a little girl, I tell them "I'm running for president because that's what girls do." Then we pinky promise that they'll remember. I want every girl to know that when they fight from the heart, they can win. #WomensEqualityDay
@cornell_ian@HuffPostPol This shows that Trump does not see South America as important. Like before when we talked about symbolism in IR, Trump went to Asia, Pence went to SA and Rex went to Africa. It shows where his priorities are.
@RamirezgAntonia I think that when the audience is not fully aware of how tariffs and trade wars work, they see the ranting and want to fight as well. However, with more understanding, they are able to better understand the situation and thus be less supportive of Trump. Less about energy.
#NidoGP The video on this article clearly explains how Cambridge Analytica tampered with the US elections. Do you think they are correct to say that they won the election for Trump? Were people actually impacted by the advertisements they put out?

#NidoGP How is this backlash not sustainable in the future? Or is it? Is globalization more beneficial or hindering? What else do you foresee happening as a result of globalization?

#NidoGP In what ways is neocolonialism present in your life? Is it possible for a formerly colonized country to ever overcome their past?

#NidoGP What of these categories do you think are most necessary and the easiest to improve in developing countries? How could investments in these countries improve these factors?

#NidoGP This article talks about possible ways to measure development. Some of the tools it talks about reminded me of the reading we did for homework. What do you think are the most important factors and why?

#NidoGP How could the US change to investment from aid in Africa? Why would this be beneficial due to Trumps budget cuts in foreign aid?

@DelLonardi In the comments of Trump's tweet, Trump supporters remain in favor while those who oppose the wall critique it. For this reason, I am not sure if it will change the minds of anyone already opposed even if he is meeting his electoral promise, making him seemingly more legitimate.
@a_novaspena@WSJopinion This article perfectly lays out what we talked about in class. Giving someone the fish won't teach them anything, it won't allow them to be dependent on themselves. Rather, they will keep needing someone to give them the fish. Countries need to teach poor countries how to fish.
#NidoGP Was originally going from the primary to tertiary sector more harmful than impressive in India since they are now needing more manufacturing? What does the future of India's economy look like?

@a_novaspena Media has a huge effect on young people and older generatiosn because it is so imense. This means that memes and all are seen and can sadly, even effect people.
