At 1006 this morning Norwalk Police, @norwalkctfire and @NorwalkHospital EMS responded to the rear of 146 East Avenue for a person drowning in the Norwalk River. Off James Kassimis and a member of the NFD entered the water and swam to where the person was located.

Congrats to Officers Balderrama, Clarke, Kelm, Rudzki and Vozzella, who graduated from the POST Academy. The 5 officers will now begin their Field Training Program and will be paired up with experienced patrol officers who will provide them hands-on training in our City.
