UK government departments fire people for poor performance at 1/600th the rate of private companies.

For every person they fired for being incompetent, there are 599 incompetent people who didn’t get fired.

That adds up. Imagine if a business behaved this way!

We need government to be meritocratic, competence hierarchies that reward performance and reject inefficiency.

Until this happens it’s hard to trust government with more money.

Do not be fooled by Candace Owens and her shiny propaganda tour of Russia.

The only reason she can walk around safely is because she is acting as a state propagandist.

In reality, Russia is an incredibly dangerous and bad place for her.

The Kremlin is giving Owens a massive platform because she tells them exactly what they want to hear. She is a propagandist for the Russian state. What she is hiding from her followers is that Russia is an intensely and increasingly authoritarian, sexist, and racist society.

In their rigid social hierarchy, an ordinary Black woman would possess zero rights and find herself at the very bottom of the ladder. Domestic violence is normal and legally tolerated in Russia. She would also face daily racism. She loves to claim that Russia is safe, yet the country has a murder rate higher than the United States, and significantly higher than Europe. It is also impossible to trust the authorities, who can arbitrarily arrest you as a foreigner at any moment.

Instead of telling this truth, she is pushing the false narrative that Russia is a shining beacon of Christian conservative values. It is a total fabrication. Russia has staggering rates of societal violence, domestic abuse, divorce, abortion, and state corruption. Russia is also committing genocide in Ukraine. Not very Christian.

She is operating as a direct tool of Russian state media, betraying her own audience with dangerous lies. The freedom she claims to experience is a total illusion, manufactured by a regime that locks up its own citizens for holding up blank pieces of paper. She is a fraud and a traitor selling a fake utopia. She belongs in jail for betraying the US on behalf of Russia
