Let us remember that, regardless of the outcomes, we remain members of one family with a shared commitment to rebuilding and advancing our party and our beloved nation.

To all members of the New Patriotic Party, I encourage you to participate actively, peacefully, and responsibly in this important exercise. Yesterday in Parliament, I joined my colleagues in sympathizing with victims of floods across the country. Beyond sympathy, our people deserve pragmatic solutions and coordinated emergency relief. I concluded by calling on govt to DECLARE ACCRA DISASTER EMERGENCY ZONE for one week in the wake of devastating floods and further predictions by GMet of more rains expected this week.

Dr. Bawumia has followed through on his promise and donated several relief items to people affected by the recent Accra floods at Anyaa Sowutuom and Santa Maria. The items were presented on Dr. Bawumia’s behalf by the NPP’s Social Protection Committee, led by Madam Akosua Manu.

The donation forms part of efforts to support affected families as they recover from the devastating impact of the floods. The relief items are expected to help ease immediate hardship and restore some level of comfort to victims.

Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed his commitment to standing with citizens in times of crisis and emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing the challenges posed by recurring floods in parts of the capital.

Earlier today, I visited some families affected by the recent floods. Their courage in the face of such heartbreaking loss is truly inspiring.

In my own little way I’m providing some support to some affected persons, and I encourage fellow Ghanaians to lend a helping hand where you can to help someone affected by this disaster.

May the good Lord comfort every grieving family, strengthen every affected community and guide us as we work together to rebuild.

We will recover together.
