Australia's economic growth has leaned on three things for decades:

Property
Population & immigration
Mining & resources

Question is whether we diversify or just keep doubling down on all three.

My take: the next boom is already here = rare earths.

This time, the mechanism matters as much as the resource.

A sovereign wealth fund, processing onshore, real royalties, whatever the model, the Australian people need to actually own a piece of it.

Not just approve the export licence and watch the profits leave.

We've made this mistake before, let's not do it again.
