@julianedlow You think they’d take Trey Murphy and Dejounte for JB? Could even flip Dejounte into more shooting if he doesn’t fit for Joe. Give up JB playmaking but Trey adds more shooting/shot quality and Dejounte could give them some more rim pressure/rebounding.
@Tigers_of_Old We were down 41-38 with 7 mins to play in the qtr when Samson came back on. Immediately became 65-38 with all four Dees goals from stoppage. Not sure why we didn’t persist with Balta in the ruck that qtr. Was working really well.
@Richmond_FC Time to move on from Yze. Players aren’t responding and been zero improvement. Need to stabilise the club by getting Longmire, Hinkley or Simpson before one (or more) commits to Tassie job. Samson would struggle to get a game for most VFL sides
@RFC_Centre Clearly we won’t agree, but I can’t see how you’d prefer to watch someone who’s been smashed every game he’s played (and coming off a ridiculous suspension) vs a guy we’ve only seen once. We’ve been calling to test new players and when we do, you want to go back to Samson 🤦🏻♂️
@RFC_Centre If you think that was a smashing, I can’t imagine how you’d describe Samson’s performances! A big issue with our fan base is being happy/contempt to keep trying with Samson/Sonsie/Hugo/Brown and others. If these guys were up to it, we’d have won more than 7 games in 2+ years. 🤷🏻♂️
@Tigers_of_Old Oh yes, the coach that is doing fantastically well for us - aside from having the worst winning % in club history. I hope you’ll stick with Yze and his opinions when he gets sacked and Samson gets delisted. If these blokes were good we wouldn’t have won 7 games in 2+ years
@Jasperc53 I find the key fwds hard to rank, but I don’t think Thilthorpe is a better footballer than Curnow - if he is it’s marginal at best. Curnow had a bad finish to last year when he clearly wanted to leave, otherwise he’s been dominant for years. Thorpe rucking does help I guess
@Tigers_of_Old@Tigers_of_Old I didn’t watch the second half but did Lalor come back on in the third qtr? Saw he went off injured very late second qtr but only looked like he was kneed in the you-know-where.
@Sam_Vecenie True, but POR will probably hope one of MIL’s picks will give them a top 5 pick (or multiple) in future and get them a VJ-quality player anyway. Could GSW pay MIL some firsts to take Kuminga, Dray and Moody? Although Kuminga probably not wanted by MIL I imagine
@Sam_Vecenie Not sure Edgecombe is worth a player and 4 firsts (3 of which would be insanely valuable MIL firsts in a future without Giannis). A great prospect but just adds to POR’s guard-heavy rotation plus Dame next year. His post-rookie contract will kill their cap sheet too
@Sam_Vecenie I don’t know what he is at this point tbh. Reminds me a bit of Thon Maker - slim frame, solid intangibles but nothing he’s real good at, potential is there but currently a ?? Seems to me he’s not as quick w ball as Giannis and the handle isn’t there. Josh Jackson maybe?
@anthonyVslater@anthonyVslater if Perry is serious about creating a defensive/competitive culture, trading for Kuminga is ridiculous. The reason GSW don’t play him is because he lacks those traits. You can’t spend a summer planning a culture shift and then disregard those plans by Feb
@databallr Pritchard due to his contract is a steal. Ajay Mitchell could lead a team if he wasn’t on the best team in the league. Melton always a plus player. Bitadze a steal too. But Jrue Holiday always tops this list for me. Was back to elite level for POR before injury.
@Jasperc53 Ridiculous that someone accused of SA can have the whole thing protected for their “mental health” - the victim of SA is suffering a lot worse. Everybody, especially women, have a right to know if someone is being investigated for SA. Remember, he is not a victim in any way
@NoContextCounty I would agree for 10/11. Archer is a great white ball bowler but horrific in test cricket. Avgs 32+ which balloons out to 40+ excluding his first series which now seems to be an outlier. Lacks variation and has so few bowled/LBW chances with his height/bounce. Better in shortform
