54M, hx of myocarditis, presented with VT storm. Went direct epicardial. Full diastolic pathway recorded on epi. VT term as ablation transects the isthmus. All diastolic activity targeted for ablation with avoidance of phrenic. The HSR approach at HSC @sozi81@PaoloDellaBell1
And today was no exception.
So tonight, I am heading into my shift at the hospital, I am motivated by the knowledge that I have a duty to take excellent care of my patients. And I will do just that.
I only wish that the @Royal_College felt the same about us.

@AFMC_e calls on @Royal_College to "consider all manners in which their examinations could be simplified, streamlined and delivered to significantly reduce the burden on examinees."
Will @Royal_College act on this call, or persist with full autumn exams?
We will need the current group of exam candidates to be working to full scope and without distractions in order to catch up on this backlog of deferred work @ConcResidents@MaryOrmsby

Many concerns have been expressed over the @Royal_College postponing the Spring 2020 exam - letters have been written, cases have been pleaded...yet little has changed.
Why not hold an online vote open to all FRCPC/FRCSCs?

As the COVID-19 surge mounts, Canadian MD residents shoulder to shoulder with their colleagues in a range of professions on the front-lines. Media highlighting backlogged care already building. And still no answers from @Royal_College or the licensing authorities...
@phdhpe@jddneary@Royal_College It's a tragedy that world experts in medical education can't figure out a technical solution like was done for many laywers with the bar exam.
The Bar of Quebec is showing great leadership and adaptation capacities by giving an adapted version of the Bar exam during this pandemic
- 5 hours long exam, on one day (instead of 2 days of exams)
- 2 subjects (instead of 6 possible subjects)
- Computer exam (instead of paper)
@Royal_College@ConcResidents L'examen du Barreau a été allégé à cause de la COVID19. Il se fera en version électronique à la fin mai et le nombre de sujets a été diminué de moitié. Une decision démontrant une empathie pour ce que vivent les étudiants.

#battlefieldpromotion update
Last night I submitted to @Royal_College the fellows' letter requesting a special meeting to discuss the proposal for a one-time alternative path to certification for spring 2020 exam candidates.
2581 people had signed this letter.
@ConcResidents
If I was in charge of exams (I'm not) I would be moving heaven and earth to make sure these R5 and other folks graduated on time. 🇨🇦 needs them frontline without a massive exam hanging over their heads. #meded#cdnhealth#COVIDCanada
Status quo defensiveness today from RCPSC. Can't believe the good folks who embraced competency-based PGME are so wedded to their 1950s hazing rituals for entry to the fraternity/sorority amidst the current COVID crisis.
Concern about Royal College's plans for exams this fall (for what it's worth, i support one-time path to certification for 2020) https://t.co/RoI1Baz0Pn @cmajnews
Now up to 2324 signers, not counting support from exam candidates, other residents, retired docs, and family physicians.
@Royal_College, your membership wants a pathway to spring certification for our new colleagues.
1441 signers in a little over 24 hours. We're more than halfway to our goal. Please keep sharing. Deferring exams until the autumn is not the right answer in a time of crisis.
