@LaurenHerschel I had to search the web for this tweet again today. After a pandemic year, with me being a nurse in the ICU finding myself in the midst of it, and now slowly coming out into reckoning with the grief and the death witnessed...your image has been getting me through it. Thank you.
I hope you seek help, whether it’s with a therapist or a friend. I hope healing is growing in your hearts! And if you’re the praying type, I hope you can find room to pray for all those that passed this year and for the all the patient’s still battling it. 🤍
Today is the one year anniversary for our ICU’s first Covid patient admission. Never could I even imagine what we were about to go through. To all the healthcare workers who went head first into the unknown, your efforts were seen. Thank you!
To anyone who has had a hard time, either as a healthcare worker or someone who lost a part of their world, please know that you are not alone. I started therapy between the surges and I recommend it. It pulled me out of the deepest pits of despair.
I really think 2021 will be the last year I’ll be in the ICU. God bless all of the families that lost a loved one. I pray that in the final moments of those who have passed under my care, that I was able to provide some comfort. 💜
In our ICU, we will be coming up on the one year anniversary of our first Covid patient admission. I experienced more deaths with my patients in the last year than my entire 13 year nursing career in the ICU.
At the hospital I work at, there’s a lobby piano that you can hear even in the walkways above. I had to stop in my tracks because I heard them play #Dynamite! 🥰 Thank you to this mystery #ARMY who brought the biggest smile on my face. @BTS_twt@bts_bighit
I loved everything about this. I love the passion of #ARMY for creating art, social structures, and various avenues to bring out positive change in this world. Thank you ARMY! And of course thank you @BTS_twt@bts_bighit for being the source of inspiration 💜
What I want to highlight here is the triage care being mentioned. I hear the stupid argument of BuT yOu SiGnEd Up FoR tHiS towards healthcare workers who are voicing their opinions on the mgmt of this pandemic. Well I sure as hell didn’t
The dire COVID situation in L.A. has prompted confusion and dismay among Angelenos, many of whom are wondering whether their sacrifices over the past nine months have been for nothing. So what went wrong? https://t.co/0URSbO5oLi
and keep to your own household. Wear your mask any time you step out, hand wash, stay distant from others. Everyone has the power to change the tide of this pandemic. Do whatever it takes to get back to “normal.” And check in on your healthcare friends.
