Bryce Harper went deep about his mistake in rightfield and how he came back from it and how kids can learn from that, especially his son
“I'll tell you what, I was thinking about Krew, my son, what I would say to him in that situation. I think it's a learning situation not for myself but everybody else as well.
I think you try to flush it as quick as possible. I grew up playing in a lot of big games. I've said it in the past about the postseason. Playing huge games that people are counting on you from the time you are 10 years old all the way until now, I don't think people understand what that feels like or looks like. Because when you guys were 10 years old, you probably weren't playing in front of 3,000 people yelling and screaming at you, wondering why you're not the player you want to be or anything else. I've been through a lot of situations to get me to this point. You make a play like that, and I'm hearing it out there, obviously.
But how quickly can I turn the page and just get past that moment, knowing that I'm still coming up to the plate to hit and knowing that in the postseason, it doesn't matter what you did the at-bat before, the inning before. It's what you do in that moment.
For me, everybody is going to make mistakes at some point, but it's how you come through in the next situation. It's not that serious, to tell you the truth. I think people take it very seriously -- and don't get me wrong, I take it serious. But I think there's a mindset, especially for kids nowadays, is parents and coaches put so much on kids these days to have to come through and be great.
But for me, it's how can you learn from each situation that you're in to come out great in the next one.”

trump's approval on the economy is SO low, Republicans thought the best they could do is remind Americans about trump's January 6th crimes.
Cory Booker was 100% right to go off on Republicans trying to sanitize trump's January 6th actions.
MORE OF THIS!👏👏👏
Former special counsel Jack Smith on allegations that he targeted GOP lawmakers in office: "I stand by my decisions as Special Counsel, including my decision to bring charges against President Trump."
The man is right…
Even Joe freaking Biden, as awful and tragic as it was with him in office, wasn’t as ABSOLUTELY BEYOND TERRIBLE as Trump 2.0 turned out to be.
Life in America for the average person is basically UNAFFORDABLE at this rate, and it just keeps getting WORSE by the day.
You can laugh all you want, but just like him, I voted for Trump three times and I also feel the SAME way along with millions of other former MAGA.
Trump is the BIGGEST TRAITOR & FRAUD in American history.
Bill Clinton: "Some days I can hardly believe what is happening in this country that I love so much. People in charge have created one set of rules for themselves and another set for everyone else. They've weaponized government to settle personal scores, prosecute enemies, stamp out free speech. They've even made the federal government a new profit centre for themselves and their allies."
"The freedom of the press is one of the greatest bulwarks of liberty, and can never be restrained but by despotic governments."
George Mason wrote that in 1776.
Strong leaders take questions. Weak ones take away the microphone. Trump is such a weak man.
For the umpteenth time: Quit trying to analyze Trump. Quit trying to figure out why he says and does the things he says and does. I’m so fucking sick of listening to some panel on CNN try to discuss his latest bizarre pronouncement like he’s some normal human being. Stop that. This isn’t complicated- He’s not a normal human being. He’s a sociopath. He lies as he breathes. He’s an idiot. He’s a Russian asset. He gets off on being cruel. He’s never been held accountable for anything he’s done his entire life. He’s a horrible person. And he’s the biggest fucking crybaby who’s ever lived. That’s it.
I made it to 46. Not bad, considering doctors told my mom I’d never see 3.
Each birthday, I celebrate by asking one celebrity to help me make the world a little better. This year, I’m reaching out to @mcuban, and you can help by vouching.
Mark, as a fellow Pittsburgher, I think we both value two things: time and making a difference.
Time, I’m running a little low on.
I’ve spent 25 years working in disability technology, and today I direct Mount Sinai’s Back-to-Life Center.
Here’s the problem I can’t stop thinking about:
No one teaches disabled people how to be disabled.
The healthcare system can save your life, stabilize you, rehab you—and then, far too often, send you home to figure out the rest yourself.
How do I use technology to regain independence?
How do I work?
How do I date?
How do I travel?
How do I find the tools that make everyday life possible?
How do I build a life instead of simply surviving one?
The answers exist. The technology exists. The knowledge exists.
But there’s no real bridge connecting people to it.
So here’s my birthday ask:
Let me send you one email laying out how I think we can build that bridge.
No pitch deck. No ask for a check.
If you think there’s something there, point me toward one person, company, or organization you think I should be talking to.
That would be one hell of a 46th birthday present.
My book "HOW RUSSIA WON: Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, the Fight for America" is out today. It's time to reclaim the Trump-Russia narrative and recognize Putin is continuing his years-long war on America and Trump is complicit.

CHECKMATE. This is how 2024 was stolen from VP Harris. They created fake counties in swing states. Holy fucking shit. Elon Musk was right. If Trump didn’t win, he was going straight to prison. And so was Trump. And that’s exactly where both of them fucking belong. Numbers don’t lie, but felons do.
A Hero That Trusted His Intuition.
The problem wasn’t that Morgan Stanley didn’t believe him.
Rick Rescorla had already been right once. After the 1993 basement bombing of the World Trade Center, the firm’s security chief walked the towers, studied the site, and reached a conclusion most people preferred not to hear: the World Trade Center was still a target. Next time, he said, it would not be a truck. It would be an airplane.
An airplane. In a 1993 report.
Executives listened. Then they looked at the lease.
Morgan Stanley was the largest tenant in the complex—twenty-two floors of the South Tower, thousands of brokers, and a trading infrastructure that could not be packed into boxes and wheeled across the Hudson.
They literally made it a trading center.
The contract with the Port Authority ran until 2006. Walking away from premium Manhattan space of that scale would have meant penalties measured in the hundreds of millions, plus the operational chaos of relocating an entire downtown machine. So the company stayed.
Rescorla adjusted. If they could not leave the building, they would learn to escape it.
He built a protocol and treated it like doctrine. Unannounced drills. No exemptions. Brokers who billed by the minute were pulled off their desks and sent into the stairwells two by two, starting from the top floors, leaving a lane for firefighters coming the other way.
People complained. He did not care. Practice, he believed, was the only thing that would beat panic.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 hit the North Tower. From the 44th floor of the South Tower, Rescorla could see the fire. Then the Port Authority came over the speakers: the South Tower was secure. Stay at your desks.
Rescorla grabbed a bullhorn and ignored them.
He started the drill his people already knew by heart. Floor by floor, two by two, down the stairs. He sang as he moved—Cornish songs from childhood, then “God Bless America”—keeping the line moving, refusing to let the stairwell become a stampede. Seventeen minutes later, the second plane struck the South Tower.
By then, most of Morgan Stanley was already on the way out.
Of the 2,687 employees in the building that morning, all but 13 survived.
It was stunning.
Rescorla could have been outside with them. He went back up instead. Colleagues told him to leave. He said he would, as soon as he was sure no one was left behind.
He was last seen around the 10th floor, heading higher.
The South Tower fell at 9:59 a.m. They never found him.
He was one of the 13.
He was a hero in every sense of the word.
Remember Rick Rescorla, he remembered for us.
BREAKING: HELL YES! Progressive star commentator unleashes a nuclear takedown of the entire Republican Party for betraying our military service members.
Don't EVER let these fascists wave the flag again...
"The Republican Party for decades has exploited the service of military people. You have to realize that the recruiters go into very poor neighborhoods and recruit the poorest among us and they send them to frontlines," Welch said on her IHIP News podcast. "It's not Dick Cheney's kid. It's not Barron. It's not Pete Hegseth. It's not JD Vance, Ben Shapiro who's all rah, rah, sis boom bah about the war with Iran. His ass is not going to go fight on the frontlines!"
"And then they never fund the warrior," she continued. "They never fund them when they get back. All of this is to fund the military-industrial complex."
This is an undeniable observation that conservative voters somehow turn a blind eye to. Republican politicians refuse to properly fund the Department of Veterans Affairs or provide real healthcare to our troops because they'd rather give that money to billionaires in the form of tax cuts. They'll gladly send other people's sons and daughters to get maimed and killed in foreign countries only to then leave them to rot once they're back stateside.
"Republicans have lied for decades about supporting the military," said Welch. "They use it as a manipulative exploitation at the ballot box. Because so many people have no culture, no culture in their towns. They live in cookie cutter neighborhoods. There's no arts. There's no diversity. So they cling on, just like Obama said, they cling onto gods and guns. And they cling onto this idea of patriotism."
"And the Republicans brilliantly exploit that, and they exploit it to the hilt, and they have for decades," she continued. "It is a lie that the Republicans are good with the economy. It is a lie that the Republicans give a shit about the troops. It is a lie that Republicans give a shit about balancing the budget. It's a lie that they're patriotic."
"These guys are parasites. They exploit Americans for very, very, very few people," she said.
One need look no further than Trump's illegal war with Iran for the proof of Welch's assessment. American soldiers are dying in a conflict that provides no benefit to our national interests, all because Israel wanted to destroy a regional adversary. Meanwhile, the defense contractors are growing fat off the bloodshed while Americans foot the bill in the form of taxes and higher gas and grocery prices.
There is nothing "patriotic" about the Republican desire for Forever Wars. It is the most profound form of betrayal.
Please ❤️ and share if you think that Democrats are the real patriots!
