As you may be aware, Ontario has introduced legislation that prevents the use of ranked balloting in municipal elections. While this may not mean much to most people, I would like to provide you with some of my personal experience. 1/6

Regardless of your view on the merits of ranked balloting, know that the province's actions fly in the face of both the popular will of Kingstonians as well as the hard work and advocacy carried out by so many. I hope my experience helped to provide some insight on this. 5/6
