There is a lot of chatter about Baptist identity and Baptist theology going on. Let me just go on record saying I am a very grateful Baptist. A Baptist church is where I heard the gospel and where I felt called to preach. We aren't perfect people, but I'm thankful for our heritage, and I'm also grateful for the professors in our seminaries who are convictionally committed to passing that heritage on.
