@gofishchris Also notable: these pages are just ugly. Big bold sales links stuck in the middle, competing for attention with headers that organize the information.
So the less information, the more visually disruptive those links are, and the harder the pages are to read.
@McNicollb @Matthewtravis08 You sure about that Brian?
How does Google auto-complete "How to talk to your family member who voted for..."?
What do you *notice*?
To cap this off, a month ago we moved in with my 73-year-old FIL in the northwest corner of Mississauga to help him manage things and because we needed to vacate (no ill will to my landlord; it was a very affordable 16 years).
Still not technically a homeowner.
It would be completely fair for every city councillor who gleefully upheld every zoning restriction to be forgotten by their children (and grandchildren if they're so fortunate) who will be forced to live far from the city they presided over through a housing crisis. #TOpoli
Responses to the housing crisis that amount to, "wHy DoN't YoU jUsT mOvE?" is something I hear exclusively from straight dudes.
And what I really want to hear is how competent the families of these economic geniuses find them in providing literally any kind of care.
@theJagmeetSingh You think you're PM when the dust clears? Based on what polling? What's the actual strategy here?
Because it looks like you're anxious to have PP installed as PM for some unfathomable reason.
This conversation between @nrmaharaj and @kileyreid about COME AND GET IT had me nodding and mmhmm-ing during my walk today I enjoyed it so much

Michael Tamblyn spoke with author @stphnmaher about his new political biography of Justin Trudeau, THE PRINCE, on @kobo's In Conversation podcast. Listen here: https://t.co/PeEEZGcj3D
@lilyraynyc Hard agree: all this pushback from people who it seems don't have "helpfulness" as a core brand value driving their strategy. Consequently, they don't penalize *themselves* for publishing content that only tricks bots and helps nobody.
Imagine my surprise as a reader who normally just can't get into crime fiction when I picked up @blacklionking73's latest and could not put it down. So we HAD to have him on the show—and he was as fantastic as I'd hoped. https://t.co/zqeYbC21Cy
"You gotta do what you gotta do." — a Toronto cop at a street closure re: drivers being sent around the block to go the wrong way on 2️⃣ 1-way streets to access a shared driveway. No detour signage. No officer directing traffic.
Driving legally is now for nerds, I guess. #TOpoli
