We are an emergency shelter in North Dakota working to empower people experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or food insecurity to live stable lives.
Special treat for lunch today, thanks to @TheBossPizza! They stopped by with six trays of fried chicken, potato wedges, and fries. 🍗🍟 They had it all warmed up and ready to go...enough to feed at least 60 people!
Thank you so much for thinking of our neighbors in need. ❤
June is #PTSDAwarenessMonth

May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth—a great time to check in on yourself & your loved ones. If you or someone you know needs help, confidential support & treatment options are available. #MHAM2026

Blessed to share that Bible study is happening at least once a week at the Mission! Thank you to Pastor Hughes & Cornerstone Baptist (photo credit), St. Michael's Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, RCCG Lord's Temple, and Salvation Army. ✝️🙏
Last night, 66 people stayed at the Mission. That's the most people we've had in May in 9 years.
These are the folks Jesus calls on us to help:
'whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me' (Matthew 25:40)

More than half of our clients report at least one mental health disorder (and more go unreported).
We’re grateful to all who offer this support through the Mission and show compassion to people navigating mental health challenges. Let's continue to show up for them. ❤

Just ran into a gentleman named Gary, who stayed with us briefly in 2024. We were so happy to hear that he is still doing well and feeling good about life! ☺
God places people into our lives every day. It’s up to us to embrace these opportunities to serve. 🙏
Friends, we need you! Support slows down this time of year, but so many people are coming to us in need of food, shelter, and a chance at a better life.

We brought back a classic yesterday: Bingo Night! This turned out to be a great pick-me-up.
We want YOU to be part of the next bingo night! Would your church or club like to stop by with some snacks, small prizes, and call games? Please call Korrin at (701) 772-6600 ext. 1015.
South-end neighborhoods had a chance to show their generosity during the GGFYP Orange Bag event. They delivered! ❤
We picked up 8 large bags of food and hygiene products, plus a 50lb bag of rice that can feed 500 people. Thank you to the Orange Bag donors and organizers! 🥫
UPDATE: He did it! Tests passed, GED secured. ✅
Next up is finding a job. He has more options than ever before. So proud of this gentleman and grateful for those who are providing the support he needs. More to come!
Serious mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and major depression are medical conditions, not personal failures. Learning helps increase understanding. https://t.co/5crCnnm3xR

We have something to smile about today. Leona is moving into St. Anne's! 🏘 She worked as a caretaker, but couldn't do the work anymore due to her physical health. Now she is set up in her own facility in Grand Forks where family can visit. Thank you, donors and volunteers! ❤🙏
Nearly 40,000 pounds of food donated to help local families. Incredible. Thank you @UNDsports, @SimplotCompany, UND athletes, and fans. ❤️
We'll take it from here and get this food to our neighbors in need.
Oh, how we long for summer weather! 🌞 When it does finally arrive, it will be so nice to have this new water fountain to replace our old, broken one.
Thank you to the Citizen's Assistance Program, who provided this as well as new kitchen and maintenance tools through a grant!
