Registered Nurse, MN. Pediatric Nursing & Peds diabetes is where you'll find me. Mom of 3 tiny humans. Curious about ALL the things but also pretty sleepy 😴
@PaulDechene@CJTR_Radio How is he allowed to talk to anyone like that as a councillor? As a human? That was so inappropriate and should have been called out by the chair/mayor. Amazing restraint by Dr. Matthews.
#Regina will never be a tourist destination. We will never be "cool" or "amazing."
But we can be quaint, cute, curious, cozy, and kind. We need to lean into something that might actually work to make this a better place to live (and visit.)
We believe in loving our children for who they are, because there's no space for hate in a world where uniqueness shines brightly.
Let's stand together in creating a more inclusive and loving society for our kids. ✨💕🌈

I really don't care if business people need to deal with an extra connection flight or two to get where they're going.
Maybe it's just me but I'd rather @SKGov subsidize a bus line so someone's Grandma can get to a cancer appointment in the city.
The more this situation develops, the more it feels like the Mayor is misrepresenting the people of Regina on so many levels. Lacking leadership and tact in every interview and comment made.
The councillors are literally asking to be investigated if you plan on accusing them…
An open letter signed by more than 100 local women and non-binary people challenges recent claims made by Regina Mayor Sandra Masters concerning the conduct of two councillors https://t.co/dIscgmKdm5 #yqr#yqrcc
It is important to remember that #DKA in children is managed differently than in adults. Just published: Current recommendations for management of paediatric diabetic ketoacidosis👉 https://t.co/vRGQJ2oJ2M #T1D
I’m going to say it: I like paying taxes in exchange for a properly managed health care and education system and other government services. I don’t want money back, I want ambulances to come on time.
Every Christmas, there is an outpouring of well-intentioned geneorsity towards homeless people. Groups insist on bringing hot food to those outside.
A [maybe unpopular] thought? Don't.
Last Christmas I noticed PILES of food stacked by tents & sleeping bags. Overwhelming. [1/]
.@SKGov: "The unvaccinated are prolonging the pandemic."
NO. You, OUR ELECTED GOVERNMENT, are prolonging this pandemic through WILLFUL & DELIBERATE INACTION.
Blaming our unvaccinated (50% kids <12 btw) won't save lives or prevent ICU triage.
Please stop blaming. START LEADING.
As I begin the day, I choose optimism. I hope our Health Minister:
✅Speaks HONESTLY to us re: our health care system collapse
✅Shows EMPATHY for those who have suffered & lost loved ones
✅Implements measures to STOP DELTA before we TRIAGE lives
RT if you agree.

The term "pandemic of the unvaccinated" upsets me.
It deliberately shifts an unfair burden of blame to individuals, and away from our elected leaders who made bad policy choices.
Poor policy got us into this disaster. Good policy can get us out with less suffering & death.
Heard something today that’s sticking in my guts: “The way your government responded to the COVID-19 crisis is the way they’ll respond when climate change starts affecting the food supply.” #ableg
Remember that time the urologist resuscitated that COVID patient in respiratory distress? Neither do I. Get #Vaxxed or it might be me (redeployed) who you see first in the ER. Ah, breathing is overrated anyways. Peeing is where it’s at!!!
As a parent of a 5 year-old starting JK in Sept, seeing what Delta is doing to kids is scary.
Most kids do fine. A few don't, though. I wouldn't wish that kind of bad outcome on my worst enemy.
Bottom line: ALL #SK schools MUST MASK come September. True no brainer.

@SLangeneggerCBC@CBCSask So encouraged! Not only does it make it nice to look at, it promotes pollinator habitats, takes advatange of usable land, cleans the air & provides great teaching moments when walking with my kids! We always have something to talk about & look at. Bugs, flowers, veggies, birds…
