@acbowen I live on this block. This was truly unnecessary. Very few cyclists, (unless theres an organized bike-centric event) and lots of room to social distance on the sidewalks. I would've appreciated more opportunity for community input.
you are beautiful
like your mother
like your sister
like the sun
wildflowers.
open your eyes.
gaze at your reflection
do you see yourself?

In order to change the trajectory of Black women’s maternal and reproductive health, we must work to eliminate the systemic racism in medicine that contributes to these disparities. #BMHW19 https://t.co/dJHobUU3IW
Today’s #WomensHistoryMonth honoree is Vernita Gutierrez, who’s spent 20-plus years with @pppswhealth, working to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care and passionately serving marginalized and under-represented communities. TY, Vernita! #WomenOfSD39
Our policymakers should be representative of the communities they serve but the system isn't set up for US to be able to participate.
