seeing how nagi reacted to opps like haneru who was outright malicious with that kick to his face, i dont think he was ever bullied or anything. otherwise there would be some emotional response/trauma to being targeted like that?

tho i would argue nagi's default seems to fit that too, but he's trying to go the bllk way. whether its a mistake remains to be seen

348 one more point that im left wondering is…for now, its only haneru who has the clear intention to shoot nagi down cuz he knows nagi’s the biggest threat (very bllk way of doing things). other characters (for now) seem to prefer teaming up with nagi (side b mentality),

@Yukiteruu_ and just from the short exchange haneru observed in the kira nagi duo, its very clear nagi exhibited more "trust and cooperation" attitude with his nicknames and going all out to corner with his face. he picked kira cuz he knows nagi's the threat

@Yukiteruu_ i dont think haneru genuinely picked kira cuz of that. there's a reason he's labelled as a "smooth talker" cuz this dude's just saying whatever to win people over. most telling is him saying kira lost due to "bad luck" cuz how would he have known? kira knows he's full of shit

anyway, back to choki… its very interesting behaviour on nagi’s part to prick himself on choki’s thorns every morning not just to wake himself up, but perhaps literally feel and affirm that choki is there with him…

my fav metaphor for them; reo’s the kind who prefers to crawl and bury himself in his partner, while nagi prefers his to bury themselves in him. since both are males, replacing the body parts in different context just gives...reonagi 😌

i always say this but this is exactly why it HAS to be REOnagi dynamics. their personalities are so complementary in the sense of affirming the other’s worth with reo wanting to make an impact and be the one who leads and nagi WANTING his partner to change and influence him,

its pretty consistent in the subtext nagi’s an instinctual and “feeling” type, so it makes sense he would like to experience others’ impact on him directly for it to feel “real” and affirming to him. the biggest example is ofc “i want you to break me” vs “i want to be your light”
