It is not shameful to be ignorant. What is shameful is being proudly, stubbornly ignorant and that has defined this ownership (#BlueCoOut) for the last four years.

Time and again, they have dragged this club through one hollow “project” after another. It started with dismantling everything that made Chelsea successful -the manager, the staff, the identity, the standards, the footballing ideology. Then came the appointment of sporting directors with neither the pedigree nor the competence for a club of this stature, yet they were handed complete control over transfers and managerial appointments. The results speak for themselves.

Experimentation is part of football. Learning through mistakes is acceptable. But repeating the same mistakes while calling it “progress” is negligence. You cannot force a failing model to work simply because your ego is tied to it.

If this ownership is truly as data-driven as it claims, how can it be so blind to the actual data - the performances, the results, the league positions, the regression year after year?

You have turned Chelsea into a daycare of unproven talent, managed by coaches far below the level required to lead a club of this magnitude. Stamford Bridge was once a fortress. Players fought for the badge, the standards meant something, and opponents feared coming here. Today, Chelsea has become a laughing stock, incapable of competing with even the bottom sides in the league.

You wanted to break records, and you succeeded by delivering one of the most embarrassing periods in the club’s modern history.

So how long will it take for the ownership to step outside its bubble of arrogance and start acting like custodians of Chelsea Football Club?

Because that name means something.
