insane how all it would take is a DLC BASED ON XIVU ARATH to make a fuck ton of money yet they decided to make a star wars dlc IMAGINE THE RAID ARMOR WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY
This is a straight lie lol @supercell if card levels didn’t matter I would be playing level 16 players. As soon as I made my new deck with 2 level 12 cards I’m playing level 14 nonstop
Destiny's death feels insanely personal.
>Thriving mmo
>Slowly loses support for core game health
>This leads to falling player counts
>One final hurrah that was OBVIOUSLY a setup for a sequel
>Two dogshit dlcs back to back
>Playercounts fall (fucking duh)
>Next dlc benched for 6 months
>Canned and replaced with a final update
>Finally supports the core game
>Massive concurrent and DAU spike
>#1 on steam sales
>Fully canned anyway
Destiny's death feels insanely personal.
If you’re frustrated by the criticism aimed at Sony leadership, think about the talented Bungie devs who will lose their jobs because of poor decisions at the top.
Yes, mistakes were made at Bungie. Yes, Destiny could have been far more than it became. But the developers and the community didn’t deserve this outcome. They’re the ones paying the price.
When we call out Sony leadership, flood social channels, and make our voices heard, it’s because the game many of us have called home for 12 years is being gutted for no good reason.
Destiny is one of gaming’s most valuable franchises. Destiny 3 could be a massive success and a path forward for both players and Bungie. The solution exists but leadership continues to ignore it.
It would be like Xbox killing Halo.
It would be like Nintendo killing Mario.
We will not stay silent. We will keep fighting for our game to exist - for Bungie, for the devs, for Guardians.
It would be like Xbox abandoning Halo.
It would be like Nintendo abandoning Mario.
That’s how important Destiny is to Bungie and its community.
We will keep fighting for the future of this franchise for Bungie, for the developers, and for every Guardian who has called this universe home for the last 12 years.
Guardians Make Their Own Fate.
Factually, you cannot tell me Destiny 2 didn’t make enough money to fully fund Destiny 3 and Marathon. Destiny 2 has reportedly generated 1.5B over 9 years.
With it costing about 150-200M a year to keep the game running, and about an estimated 500M+ to make Destiny 3 (without reused assets).
Had they ended the game with FS and the MoT update we just received, I can almost guarantee we wouldn’t be in this situation where the game was loosing more money then it was making.
Revenge plot or not, someone somewhere doesn’t want D3 to happen.
It would take an estimated 1,200-1,500 devs to make D3, and with the company being rumored to have mentioned laying off 50% (amongst other percentages) of its employees, it’s looking bleak.
All in all greed killed this franchise, and it’s honestly not in the odds it’ll ever recover. At least not for a very long time.
Pains me to think that we just never get to visit Old Chicago in Destiny 2 now.
I was really looking forward to seeing this destination be fully realised in game.
Be the whole fucking problem!!!
Shit post.
@Sony@PlayStation you think you’re petty?
Us Guardians are pettier. We hold grudges.
All you had to do was green light a Destiny project. That’s @Bungie bread and butter! But the world is full of dumb bitches and apparently a good share of them run Sony/Playstation. Must not really like money then. Cause you bet on the wrong damn horse. And instead of putting out a statement addressing the elephant in the room you hide behind board rooms. I hope there’s individuals within these companies that grow a pair and say what needs to be said. Call these idiots out.

Jessica: Talarico is standing outside Paxton's office asking about how this admitted molester got a deal where he was only in jail for 29 days.
Watters: That has been debunked.
Jessica: It hasn’t actually.
Watters: We’ve been debunking it for weeks.
Jessica: It’s literally what happened.
Watters: We don’t have time to explain it to you.
If you want Destiny 2 to thrive more just keep playing it.
Don’t bring the negative energy and noise.
Crazy as it sounds it’s the better move.
Just play it.
🚨 NEW: Sony leadership reportedly has a "desire for revenge" against Bungie over issues with its live service strategy, with "internal resistance/strong pushback" at PlayStation over the decision to end Destiny 2 live service support - https://t.co/ThhqFlelo0
@trulyyblu Honestly man I def payed. Bought everything up to forsaken 2 times. Once on Xbox and then again on ps4 when the base game became free. All the money spent on cosmetics. Then I switched to pc and bought even more. I bet I’m not the only one either
