NSWC Dahlgren will conduct range testing 30 Oct from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Testing has potential to produce VERY LOUD NOISE in communities surrounding NSF Dahlgren. Access to the Potomac River Middle Danger Zone (MDZ), as described in 33 CFR 334.230, will be restricted during testing.
NSF Indian Head is now operating in a training environment: Personnel may see in increase in emergency vehicles and potential traffic delays. Please obey direction of all emergency personnel for your safety.

Dispose of your personal documents safely at Friday's free shred event sponsored by NSF Dahlgren Fleet and Family Support Center on Aug 4. The truck will be available from 1100 - 1400 on the lot across from Topside FCU.
The inbound lane at NSF Dahlgren Main Gate will be closed today from 0930 - 1300 for maintenance. All inbound traffic will use the outbound lane for entry until work is completed. All outbound traffic will exit thru Avenue A gate.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for July 27 & 28, 1100 - 2000 each day. Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly those working or participating in outdoor activities.
