@CatterickForces @BBCBreaking @BBCNews Because farmers rarely see the value of the land they own. A farm can be valued at £2-£3 million but turn a very low profit. Those who inherit the farm then may have to find hundreds of thousands on a very low profit margin. The consequence is having to sell land to pay the bill.
