“So you paid for a subscription to watch Royals baseball this year?”
“That’s right.”
“And the team has been terrible your entire life?”
“That’s correct Dave”
“And you thought that this year would be different?”
“Yes”
“Are the games at least fun to watch?”
“No”
#Broncos OLB Jonathon Cooper was arrested again Thursday night on charges of domestic violence, harassment, and violating a protection order.
According to police, Cooper’s ex-girlfriend called authorities after he allegedly showed up at her residence, knocked on her door for 5-10 minutes, and repeatedly called and texted her.
Per @denverpost, an updated arrest affidavit states that a forensic nurse reported his ex-girlfriend suffered "strangulation with hypoxia and traumatic brain injury."
#Cardinals rookie DT Kaleb Proctor, a 4th-round pick in this year's draft, tore his meniscus during OTAs and could miss the entire 2026 season, per HC Mike LaFleur.

#Titans HC Robert Saleh said many of the team’s draft picks won’t do much on-field work during rookie minicamp due to the travel and stress of the pre-draft process impacting conditioning.
Saleh added he still carries the scar from being in Jacksonville when No. 3 overall pick Dante Fowler tore his ACL on Day 1 of rookie minicamp in 2015.

Tony Clark plans to resign as executive director of the Major League Baseball Players Association, sources tell @DVNJr and me. Clark’s resignation comes in the wake of the Eastern District of New York’s investigation into alleged financial improprieties at the union.
White Sox are adding bidets in their clubhouse as requested by Japanese slugger Munetaka Murakami
"One thing he did notice is we didn’t have a bidet in our locker room. That’s new to him. It was like, ‘Ok, that’s new. We can do that.’” -GM Chris Getz
