I was today years old when I learned you can present a phoney lease to @Airbnb and rent out a house you don't own. They'll just say the renter has a valid lease and the homeowner needs to get the squatter who took over the house to take the listing down.

A new family moving into the house that was taken over by squatters illegally yet @Airbnb won't do anything about it because there's a nickel to be made. The next time I need a place to stay, remind me to sleep on the sidewalk before using @Airbnb.
