@BoujeeFinances Him doing that also created the greatest entry point for the stock. I recall it dropping down to $85 or something absurd. The next ATH was almost 10x that.
@USSMogger@RihardJarc If Meta gets a bad decision from this, it will set a precedent for all companies participating in the social media space. I'm not saying it won't happen, but it will be troublesome for the industry beyond Meta. To me, that makes it more unlikely.
@love_chords@Mr_Derivatives You might not get this type of entry price post trial, that’s the other end of it. We simply don’t know where it will go. It may crash a lot more too. We only have this opportunity because of the risk involved, otherwise it would be sitting north of $600.
@Pedrinti@Peter_Lukacs_R Exactly. Any major corrections since then have lasted only weeks or a month at the most before largely recovering losses. Its been a very viable strategy to buy up dips without hesitation. I feel this trend will continue for some time yet.
@BleedOilBlue I feel like the Leafs have always had our number, though. Even recently they seem really hard to beat. They smoked us under Sheldon Keefe too IIRC.
@Maclintock1@BleedOilBlue Not even that. I bet it's mostly Riders fans if history is any indication. Usually the stadium is 50/50 or maybe even 60/40 for Riders fans at Commonwealth. Still a good situation regardless.
@sackyh4ck@KristinRaworth I think she's complaining about the city failing to implement a sustainable construction plan that finds the sweet spot between completing all required work and minimizing disruption to commuters and businesses. The City had good intentions of not letting the work drag out but...
@AlbertanAFk Yah it's impossible to do it that way. But perhaps some form of advanced heat mapping as part of a federally funded program can be possible where fires are detected and responded to quickly before they become too large to fight.
@dstaples Yup. This is the very reason defending in the box is so tough and requires high IQ. You have to constantly weigh the risks of attempting a tackle. if you attempt a tackle and miss the ball b/c the attacker smartly pushed the ball away from the tackle, it's a foul you have to own.
@MPelletierCIO Exactly. There are no easy decisions out there where it's all pros and no cons. This decision appears to be a net positive for our province and we have to take these types of chances when opportunities arise. We are well positioned with an abundance of nat gas so why not?
@AJA_Cortes@DissentFu I wouldn't call it "fault" in every case. Some people try their butt off but God limited their genetic potential. They can't think innovatively or like entrepreneurs and are stuck being worker bees forever helping others get rich, thus stuck renting for life like this individual.
@dstaples@DavidStaplesYEG Generally I approve, however, in the case of Babcock, he appears to be a guy who doesn't learn from past behavior.
Detroit -was a dick to Modano and Franzen (likely others)
Toronto -players' cell phone fiasco
Columbus -had to step away due to more interpersonal management issues
@thepsxbull@unusual_whales The real reason is that most don't have a portfolio... The gap between the haves vs. have nots has really widened since 2020. The rich have gotten really rich.
@EdmOilerlytics Mcdavid and Drai both saying “we have 2 years” is a scare tactic to ensure Katz and Management remain on their toes. Things would have to go really bad next season for McD to leave. I don’t see it happening, but that’s just a personal opinion.
