Looking for advice on a good data package for secondary schools. I have previously worked with Go4Schools but interested in what people would recommend?
@WhistleblowingT Huge focus on positive learning behaviors. Ideally all should be 'good' learners by year 10. Also never a bad thing with any year to flag what is happening in higher years. Point out when year 10 and 11 have exams it will be them soon enough.
BOOK GIVEAWAY
I have a set of @WALKTHRUs_5 books (thanks @teacherhead) and a couple of my own @JohnCattEd leadership books for an end of term giveaway.
RT = If you'd like Walkthru books
Like = #LeadershipBKD books
Or you can do both!
I'll pick the winners at 9am Mon 17th July
@WhistleblowingT If they wanted to do that they would have made the external advert for HoD which was much more likely to attract candidates. I would think this is just making it fair for everyone.
If I was in their position I would be annoyed if everyone else had this chance and I didn't.
Come and join our team! We are seeking a geography teacher to join our excellent humanities team. Head of Year role available alongside https://t.co/D3cOeo9qpB
@FloraSCooper Make it genuinely about improvement. Removing the grades would mean people read the actual report and can make their own judgement.
A return visit with a specific focus could still be arranged but without the need of a full inspection if most areas fine.
@WhistleblowingT Move school. I felt exactly the same when I was 2 years in, then realised after a move how unsupported I had been on behaviour. All schools have some behaviour issues but strong policies and SLT make a huge difference.
@RishiSunak It is already basic safeguarding to report anything of a sexual nature when working with children. Even clubs have safeguarding officers of children involved. How is rewording a basic expectation a crackdown?!
Emotional farewell to staff and students from @CastleManor today after 10 years. Leaving behind some amazing people of all ages but excited for a new challenge.
@GBNEWS If a poll by a right wing news channel returns 52% in favour of a right wing policy this is hardly indicative of wider support? If anything this seems to suggest a lot of people even of conservative views consider it too much.
