Yesterday I wasn’t feeling well. Husb bought us dinner from pasar malam and fed me medicine while I was in bed. He ironed the clothes for us and the kids, did the laundry and washed the dishes.

Today, he went to bed early. Just after Isyak, he dozed off. I could see how exhausted he was. So I took care of the rest of the house chores, ironing the clothes, doing the laundry and washing the dishes.

You see, yesterday, it was 30:70. And today, it’s 70:30. The ratio is never fixed. Sometimes it’s 55:45. Sometimes it’s 60:40. Depends on day. Sometimes it even got to 43.8:56.2

Marriage is about partnership. It’s about complementing and backing each other up. You can’t define it by an exact ratio. As long as both respect each other, understand partnership and responsibility, they’ll make it, insyaAllah.

Ini rupa tandas di Arafah. Takde Flush. Tempat kita pijak tu plastik je. Hampir semua tandas kena squat.

Kalau tandas bangunan baru 2 tingkat, dalam 30 pintu, ada 5 je kot tandas duduk. Korang kena berlatih squat dari rumah. Lelagi yang badan besar.

Satu benda kena hati-hati kat tandas di Arafah ni, banyak smartphone jatuh dalam lubang tandas. Memang takkan dapat ambil.

Sebab kawan tu nak jaga kain ihram (tiada tempat sangkut). Kena sangkut kat pintu tandas. Pastu nak pegang phone, nak kena squat lagi, pastu kaki tiba-tiba cramp.

Memang disaster. Phone jatuh kat lantai, kemudian menggelongsor masuk ke lubang tandas.

Jadi, tak payah bawa smartphone ke tandas lebih selamat.

Lagi satu, airnya panas-suam. Lagi panas dari air suam order kat mamak. Better cuba kat tangan dulu. Sebab kat luar suhu cecah 48-50ºC. Ramai orang menjerit dalam tandas, agaknya mereka main pancut je air kat situ.

Kawan-kawan gelakkan je kat luar.

Doa banyak-banyak agar ujian tandas ni tak jadi penghalang ibadah haji kita nanti.

Begitulah cerita tandas di Arafah.
