US autos are made for US markets, even *before* the weird commercial vehicle craze in the US the rest of the world didn't want what you want. Re-tool for a global market or apart from a few niche segments, there is no competition from the US.

The US makes things for itself, the rest of the world don't factor in say, design or quality - so the rest of the world doesn't by US Cars/food etc.

For the contempt case HE PLEADED GUILTY, so he accepts the allegations are true.
