๐จJUST IN: The Government of Ghana increases the National Service Allowance from GHS559.04 to GHS715.57 effective January 2023, in a letter signed by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Hon. Abena Osei-Asare (MP)
All NSS personnel currently in service will receive arrears for the difference in upward adjustment from January 2023 to date, and would be paid accordingly.

According to a statement from the Acting Director of Corporate Affairs, Ambrose Entsiwah Jnr., the National Service Allowance has been increased from Ghยข 559.04 to Ghยข 715.57, starting from January 2023.
Personnel currently serving will thus be paid the arrears for the difference from January, 2023 and are advised to exercise patience as theyโll be duly paid as soon as possible.
Today, a communique has been released in effect stating their intention to increase the allowance from 559.04gh to 715.57gh.
Additionally, current national service personnel are "entitled to arrears for the difference in the upward adjustment from January 2023"
